their are two games for the ds that are slightly similar to Smash bros.

They are called...

Jump Super Stars

and

Jump Ultimate stars.

These games feture correctors shown in Jump Magazine

Like Goku, Naruto, Yugi and more.

Super Smash Bros. DS is the most realistic idea. It couldn't have as many characters as brawl, but you could download more to an SD card if played on a DSi or DSi XL.

Pokemon Snap Wii? Sounds like a good use of the controller, but nothing more. The original game didn't have much for it.

Kirby: Star Rod sounds really fun for hard core gamers, but not for the wider audience that Nintendo is also trying to please.

Banjo will not be returning to Nintendo. I'm sorry, but he traded his N64 for a 360.

Well there is a Homebrew Application for DS, called Super Smash Bros Rumble and is still in Progress.

Up to now, you can Play 3 Chars on 3 Stages, and I think it has Potential.

Kirby: Star Rod DS: Dedede stole the Dark Star Rod to make himself and his enemies stronger. Kirby needs to use his star rod and his Warp star to save the day.

COPY ABILITIES: Shoot an enemy with the star rod and inhale it to gain 30 different Star Rod Abilities!

Helpers: Touch Kirby to get rid of his abilitie and get a helper who rides on a Warp Star next to him. (Up to 3 helpers at a time)

64: Mario only, 120stars, no coin stars or secret stars, 5stars per level.

DS Mario, Luigi, Wario, Yoshi, 150stars (151 BETA), 7stars per level, coin stars, secret stars.
