Homayun brother Jazakallah... Splendid work. My father once translated a part of this poem for me in Urdu many years ago and I always wanted to listen and understand the full version. Many thanks for the Urdu translation. I know very little farsi but I think Iqbal's words are just awesome and they touch your heart. It is a very touchy subject i must say.. i had to stop recitation many times because i could not take the shear emotions attached to it.. after all he was the grand son of a person i love to death!!

You are right Homayun, our father used to narrate this event in our childhood with tears in his eyes as I remember. He was man of very strong nerves but he used to cry like a child every time he described this touchy event to us.
