  • Long Live Richard Hunt!!!!

  • RIP Richard Hunt

  • Long Live Jim Henson!!!!

  • RIP Jim Henson

  • HUZZAH!!!!

  • OMG!

  • Poor Kermit

  • Poor Forgetful Jones

  • Man! This one is as funny as the "Oklahoma" one.

Kermit: Look what you did here, Forgetful." XD

  • TH-RUUUUU the door, Forgetful :-D

  • Speaking of Grover, remember when Grover tried to sell Kermit, sunglasses? Kermit said he couldn't use them because Frogs don't have noses or ears. But in this skit, Kermit is wearing sunglasses. I thought he couldn't use them? And Kermit actually implied in the salesman skit that he didn't have any sunglasses because he said "I've always wanted a pair of sunglasses, but I've never been able to use them." Good thing that Sesame Street doesn't have to conform to reality.

  • perhaps he can understand better if he saw Grover's - around, over, under, and thru bit.

  • thease are the mupets?

  • I hope I NEVER get an actor this silly when I start directing films. Kermit is so patient. I'd get really frustrated and maybe hire someone else.

  • @MenollytheBeagle Not Me

  • I remember this as a kid, I always laughed like crazy! I used to have cowboy doors and I'd re-enact this skit a lot when I was a kid LOL

  • @Knife138 Me 2

  • Hey... look careflly when forgtetful falls off the door...

I'm sure that's RIchard Hunt we see ducking behind the door

  • I frolicked around the living room every time they frolicked around.

  • Something seems... off about Kermit here. I mean, it seems more obvious than usual that he's a hand puppet - he just sort of glides around, and he's up higher than usual.

  • @NyeTunes

Those are some very interesting observations my friend!

  • @Smartboy8877 Same To You

  • this clip is called Kermit Directs Forgetful Jones to go through the door

  • Anyone have the clip where Forgetful recites the alphabet?

  • forgetful jones is a stoner for sure

  • wrong

  • like it

  • He must have forgotten the line as soon as he went through the door.

  • How stupid can a Muppet be?

  • Is this a reference to a noted director?

  • This skit is from episode 2620, aired on November 17, 1989

  • Earliest known appearance, i should say

  • I love Kermit's annoyed look at the end when Forgetful Jones said, "Everybody Frolic!"

  • The bit at 2:55 when Kermit pushes Forgetful off the door. CLASSIC!! hahaha

  • This skit just kills me!

  • "I FUURGOT!" Kermit is such a good sport, he still did his little frolic dance. :)

  • Kermit's a good frog, so patient.

  • This is not a real wall. LOL

  • Why does Kermit keep hiring Forgetful to be the lead in all his shows?

  • To make the sketches hilarious :-)

  • Maybe because Kermit directs a lot of shows that has to do with the "Wild West" and Forgetful is probably the only cowboy that Kermit knows and Forgetful is probably the only cowboy that lives on Sesame Street. (Of course, there is Forgetful's girlfriend named Clementine but, I think Kermit usually needs a cowboy and not a cowgirl).

  • cool

  • I wonder what casued Forgetful to fall down that second time.

  • The doors swung back hitting him in the face after kermit went through them.

  • Didn't seem to hit him hard enough to knock him over though.

  • At 2:48, this part looks funny!!

  • Someone please upload "Write it Down".

  • What's more, Kermit didn't lose his temper at Forgetful, unlike the "Oklahoma!" sketch.

  • Good point. Maybe this was the first film before the "Oklahoma" skit which is why Kermit didn't lose his temper on this skit. I guess the reason why he lost his temper on the "Oklahoma" skit because he probably thought to himself "this was the same problem I had to talk to Forgetful to tell him to go through the door at the bar."

  • EVERYBODY FROLIC!!! That's funny!

  • i got it karl!!!

  • Hee, hee.....

THROUGH the door, Forgetful! Not over, under, or around! :-D

  • The cowboys in this skit are the same ones used in the "Letter Y" skit, which was even better than this!

  • Let me show you what you did. You came arooooooooound the door...aroooooooound the door. See? You went underrrrrrrrrr the door...You're supposed to come throoooooough the door. (LOL!) I wonder if Colin Mochrie took hints from this when he did the Hollywood Director games on Whose Line Is It Anyway? =)

  • the other movie set was better because kermit flipped out

  • "trust me Karl!"

    XD

  • LOL I caught that too

  • when I was a little kid I laughed so loud on my living room floor to this

  • I completely forgot about this segment.

  • You can never get too old to watch Sesame Street. It still makes you laugh after how many long years :D

  • wow im the 10,000th person to read this

  • Over, under, around, and through. That's what this video teaches kids. Man, the people who work on this show are pretty clever with what they teach the kids who watch it.

  • haha. "this is a 21st century frog production"

  • The best part was the "da-da!" right after he said that.

  • What's up with Kermit's outfit?

  • "EVERYBODY... FROLIC!" LOLOL!

  • "EVERYBODY.... frolic!"

    LOLOL!

  • Check out Kermit's shades! LOL!

I guess it IS hard to waer glasses when you don't have ears!

  • @ximenao1

I remember when that reality was dealt with on an episode of "Three's Company"! Is it not amazing how TV history repeats itself!

  • @Smartboy8877 MMM HMM

  • @ximenao1 LOL!I'm sure it is.

  • @ximenao1

Yes I guess it would be! I remember they did a routine about that on "Three's Company"!

  • i was born in 82 and this is one thing ill never forget "karl"

  • @jazon3r

Just for fun, I am going to point out that you were born the same year that Jim Thorp was recredited with having won the medals that he was stripped of after the Olympics! Just one more case of political correctness!

  • okkk, it's kinda hard to trust forgetful when he can't even get kermit's name right. LOLOL!

  • Everybody Frolic?

  • LOL WHEN HE WENT OVER THE DOOR!

  • I LOVE YOU!!!!

One of the best examples of preposition confusion.

  • I was looking for this this is one of my favorites and i love the ending with Kermit reacting to Forgetful's line Everybody Frolic thanks for posting this.
