Speaking of Grover, remember when Grover tried to sell Kermit, sunglasses? Kermit said he couldn't use them because Frogs don't have noses or ears. But in this skit, Kermit is wearing sunglasses. I thought he couldn't use them? And Kermit actually implied in the salesman skit that he didn't have any sunglasses because he said "I've always wanted a pair of sunglasses, but I've never been able to use them." Good thing that Sesame Street doesn't have to conform to reality.
Something seems... off about Kermit here. I mean, it seems more obvious than usual that he's a hand puppet - he just sort of glides around, and he's up higher than usual.
Maybe because Kermit directs a lot of shows that has to do with the "Wild West" and Forgetful is probably the only cowboy that Kermit knows and Forgetful is probably the only cowboy that lives on Sesame Street. (Of course, there is Forgetful's girlfriend named Clementine but, I think Kermit usually needs a cowboy and not a cowgirl).
Good point. Maybe this was the first film before the "Oklahoma" skit which is why Kermit didn't lose his temper on this skit. I guess the reason why he lost his temper on the "Oklahoma" skit because he probably thought to himself "this was the same problem I had to talk to Forgetful to tell him to go through the door at the bar."
Let me show you what you did. You came arooooooooound the door...aroooooooound the door. See? You went underrrrrrrrrr the door...You're supposed to come throoooooough the door. (LOL!) I wonder if Colin Mochrie took hints from this when he did the Hollywood Director games on Whose Line Is It Anyway? =)
Over, under, around, and through. That's what this video teaches kids. Man, the people who work on this show are pretty clever with what they teach the kids who watch it.
Just for fun, I am going to point out that you were born the same year that Jim Thorp was recredited with having won the medals that he was stripped of after the Olympics! Just one more case of political correctness!
I was looking for this this is one of my favorites and i love the ending with Kermit reacting to Forgetful's line Everybody Frolic thanks for posting this.

I hope I NEVER get an actor this silly when I start directing films. Kermit is so patient. I'd get really frustrated and maybe hire someone else.
