If more Christians were like you, I would more than likely be Christian myself. I know that probably makes no sense to most people, but a lot of people have turned me off from the church. I studied the bible for a few months as I was interested in becoming a Jehovah s witness, but I left the JW's, and from what I learned about their beliefs and reading up on Wicca, I have formed my own beliefs, which I know Christians would think is a bad thing, but Wicca is not a bad thing, it is all about nice things, but I only chose some aspects from Wicca to believe in, there are so many religions, who is to say for sure which is correct, so I combined. you will hate this comment sorry!

That is the reason why some dogs have to be put down, they cannot be tamed, only God could do it, but he also gives us free will. And once a soul is alive, it is eternal, it never dies.

If you studied the Bible, you would know that when Jesus died on the cross all of the rules of the Old Testament (Exodus included) were abolished and nullified. The Bible acknowledges men as the spiritual head of the family. Everyone is invited to believe but God set aside men to be the leaders of the Church. Do I understand that? Honestly, no. I'm still trying to figure some passages out.

Slavery in the Biblical period is much more economic. Slavery was used as punishment for crime as well as a way to pay off debt if the debtor has no money. Slavery was a business transaction, not a life-style.

Don't just pick out certain passages from the context of it all. Form your own opinions. Atheism is easy, that's why it's appealing. It's hard to accept the reality of an Almighty Creator and some people just can't put faith into something that can't be proven with science. It's your life. Just take some initiative, you don't know what you could find.

@Poisinn I do believe in hell, and yes, I do believe eternal damnation is a harsh punishment. But God loves us all, the problem is that all of us hurt each other....we all do it. God has to take it into his hands to separate those who will keep hurting, from those who repent from causing such pains. That is the reason why some dogs have to be put down, they cannot be tamed, only God could do it, but he also gives us free will. And once a soul is alive, it is eternal, it never dies.

I believe that the idea of god and evolution, are one in the same. I believe he started the building blocks of life and that everything evolved from that. We know for a fact there are Dinosaurs that evolved. I have also seen true miracles. I hate that everyone has to separate. Some only believe evolution and some only God. I am both!
