"A fat belly" isn't technicaly a curve. curves are hips and breasts. But you cannot dance oriental and be skinny. The girl dancing SHOULD have some feminin curves to enhance her moves , she should also have a good height. It is a sensual dance after all , it's not Salsa and not Tango come on !
