She stated that a lot of Swedes are absolutely obsessed with American artists and culture and seem to forget their nationality and pride. This song is basically The Sounds' way of saying, "WAKE UP! We live in SWEDEN. How about embracing your OWN culture for a bit?!"

I was raised in Swden and lived in the US after that (I'm neither swedish or american) I gotta say I prefer swden dude. And this song wasn't created to be racist, it's just that all around the world, you hear Americans talking about how their country is the best, so many americans are ignorant and think everywhere else in the world it sucks besides in the states, I think this song was created to just say that not everyone acutally wants to live in the US apart from what some think.
