Tried the Classic Amber a week ago while visiting my parents. Good shit. Leinie's is about the only small town brew still left in America that will knock your dick in the dirt after drinking a 6-pack. And this is coming from a social alcoholic.

What a lot of people do is a 70-30 mix of Honey to Berry. Honey Berry, which I think its called, is pretty good. The Berry is too sweet for me to drink alone.

Berry Weiss is pretty much a wine cooler.

White bread and unsalted crackers make good palette cleaners.

cleanse your palate with water and bread or lemon (lemon sorbet is good or even just suck on a lemon). you seemed close with the berry weiss, perhaps you didn't like the combo of that with the smartfood fake white cheddar aftertaste?
