I wonder why we don't see mainstream producers turn this story into a blockbuster film. Puro Enteng 1-2-3, forever rubbish. One of the heroes in one of the hills defended by Filipinos turned out to be a president. Fidel Ramos. That's one heck of a story any credible writer can do.

In this campaign the Chinese army was about 20000 while the Philippine army was only 1000 they defended it well killing over 12000 chinese and only 100 casualties!!
ok sana kung it would've been done like ala saint's and soldiers.. no puns intended... i did some term paper about the 10th bct in college... parang kulang ng technical consultants sa pagawa.. constructive criticism lang po. sana future war movies honoring filipino soldiers be done like ala saving private ryan or band of brothers... di naman kailan ng malaking budget to make one... check out saints and soldiers.. maliit lang budget pero ang ganda ng kinalabasan.... peace out to all!
what sources did you use in writing your college paper? the guy who made the film did his research - most of it was actually done based on narratives of surviving korean war veterans, but put in a bit a little bit of fiction in it for the sake of artistic expression. just because the director relied on oral histories of the filipino soldiers in korean war doesn't warrant your comment na kulang sya ng technical consultants

kasi yung Chinese Volunteers Army pagod na kasi natalo nila X Corps at 8th Div. ng US.
yung 10th BCT fresh kahit walang tangke....
kaya hindi imposible 12,000 Chinese ang mamatay dito...

The BCTs where unbeatable! My favorite subject of the Korean war! They make the forgotten war seem bigger. Is the movie out yet?

the 'forgotten war' is a very strong title. it implies mostly to the americans as much as the other nationalities that fought in it.
but i'm still thankful that there are still filmmakers who create films such as this.
it could really help alot for philippine history noobs. I just hope this one would'nt be overly dramatic and dissapointing.
