Isn't eating meat completely natural though? I bet a lot of you have cats and dogs, what the hell do they eat? Tofu? Beans? I think not. Your cat wouldn't hesitate to tear a mouse to shreds. Who are we to question nature and say that's wrong?

I have read many resources that state that dogs are actually carnivores who can survive without meat. To me, that makes them omnivores, especially if under the care of a human who can make sure that they are receiving adequate protein. Protein is why dogs often go for meat, because it is a quick way for them to get a dense source of protein in the wild.
@Solkovsky I don't think we would be alive to day as a species if we hadn't eaten meat and evolutionarily, moderate consumption of meat in the diet can benefits one health and well-being. However, most cultures over eat meat and meat producers often are incredibly cruel and unethical in the raising and slaughter of animals, so for that reason I think everyone should question how or even if they should consume meat.

My cat cleans her ass by licking her it with her tongue.
Neither of them hesitate to do either of these things. Doesn't mean that I should follow their example.
