  • My fav animals, thank you.

  • :) Hello in your channel

  • blah blah natureshit blah

  • is better to shoot a man but not this beautiful leopards

  • There was a much better documentary done a few years ago by a Pakistani, he got actual video of snow leapers, not just photos. Including one hunting and chasing a sheep down a hill. The sheep fell in a river and escaped when the leaper didn't jump in after it.

  • @kozmon0t Are you sure this video was from a Pakistani? The scene you describe is exactly what happens in the Planet Earth documentary.

  • @gtclaan I don't know if it was produced in Pakistan, but the guy who was tracking them was a Pakistani who had quit his job to study snow-leopards.

In another part they visited a village to hear stories from the locals and a snow leopard was suddenly right there near the village.

  • I'm proud that my country -India has 2 of the most beautiful, endangered animals! The handsome Snow Leopard and the fierce orange Tiger! Only 1400 tigers are left in India and about 300 Snow leopards.

  • People of that region shoot those animals and skin their pelts to make money. Many of those people live in complete poverty and the luring price tag of the animals pelt is very enticing to kill such an amazing creature. I don't approve of what they are doing, but i can understand why they decide to shoot the animal. They care about feeding their families rather than perserving an endangered species. Don't agree with it, just playing devil's advocate and seeing the other side.

  • These animals dont harm us. We harm them. We steal their habitat. We kill them for simple things like clothing? I would take a bullet for any of these snow leopards or any animals endangered. I love animals more than people.

  • @Bobofosho1213 Weirdo...

  • if i able to Carmencita them why i make comment on page

  • hi i am from hunza and i able to film snow leopard in my backyard he killed my 11animal in just one night but i do kill him and i make film of him every year 5 snow leopard killed by local people . so help me to give awareness to the people

and in my city on one can help to wildlife filmmaker to pro moat ther silkes so that why........................

  • @gilgit124 good luck with your efforts...try to educate the local people if you can.

  • I would love to take this job, volunteer available.Lucky u guys, getting paid too.I was in Nubra Valley where locals told me many stories and how dreadful this animal was, nightmare for shepherds.Excellent work.

  • I wonder how many snow leopards have seen a yeti.

  • @ArBiTeR0000Tactical Yes, why is it so easy for me to love animals, and so difficult for me to love other humans? Sometimes I'm ashamed of being human - we suck so hard.

  • It looks like a serious guy!!

  • for the last picture they show, they should have put it on a poster saying: i'm going, going to be extinct if people keep on killing me,only you can save us all from extinction

  • Amazing! AWESOME work. :D

  • You didn't know, Steve Jobs has already found the Snow Leopard.

  • I LUV Snow leopards!! yay!

  • I love this video! Thanks for sharing! I had to stop in again!

  • horse back you mean mule back :P

  • well done steve for putting the camera spotlight on this beautiful endangered cat. I was lucky and privileged to spend 8 hours last February watching a wild cat in the area of Ladakh where you filmed. Perhaps she was one of the cats you filmed. I hope she has a long and happy life in this freezing remote habitat. Local people and Snow Leopard Conservancy are doing great job protecting this special cat.

  • human beings are more like MONSTER BEINGS!!!!!!!! i mean siriously how can you shoot this beautiful animals??!!!! im not kidding!!!!!

  • @alicecullen1213

It is rather easy to blame an addict, not the "dealer," right? Destroy the demand - problem disappears...

Congratulations - 7 bln baby was born yesterday. And food resources are not growing.

Leopards are beautiful. But so as babies and children in Somalia that are dying at the rate of 10 a DAY...

For some reason only Iran, Russia and China are serious about helping leopards situation and Somalian children...

  • @alicecullen1213 Bush, Obama, Cameron, Sarkozi, Merkel shoot at babies and you wonder if similar criminal gangs of soulless vampires wont soot at fluffy animals with even better, useful skin.

  • that picture at 5:33 is so pretty.. the cat looks shy but gentle and inviting at the same time.

  • snow leopards sex tapes ftw?

  • Try Asian women busizz4me.info

  • this is a wonderfull creature i love it!

  • Stop commenting negatively on the shooting and watch the video. You will see that he is talking about photo shoots. Do try to watch before you comment!

  • @yohank2004

the tail is the tastiest part

  • lol, I was looking up something about the Mac Snow Leopard, than I find this XD

  • siberian tiger and the snow leopard are the two most beautiful cats

  • Unusual yet beautiful animals! I hope they make a comeback.

  • what about the raw power of the begining of life thats what makes thiese cats respected mate and they remind me of me when im flexing lol true

  • its really beautiful. I love its long tail lol

  • They have one of these beautiful creatures in Dudley zoo England, it's enclosure is no more than 40feet square, far smaller than the penguin pen, I'm not ashamed to say I cried for the first time since my nan died after leaving this zoo. The only other person who knew this was my girlfriend, iwas 26 I'm 31 now. Makes me sad still now.

  • all I can say it BEAUTIFUL

  • lots of snow leopards can be found in afghanistan

  • what an awsome cat.

did you know that it also uses its long tail as a blanket to cover its face when they sleep on cold nights?

  • Such a beautiful animal. Living proof of why nature is amazing.

  • haha for all you people who say proudly that you have snow leopard on your macs: Apple never thought that through very well did they? Let's name our OS after a cat that is going extinct! haha

  • @bodaggin maybe thats exactly what they did. Earlier OSXnames: kodiak, cheetah, puma, jaguar, panther, tiger, leopard, and now snowleopard. all endagered species, theres always a predecessor. and also, i think it gives somewhat awarness of these species that should be protected. And yes, you should be proud having a cat on the mac. You just dont understand it ;)

  • k so i was at the zoo, and i see leopards going in 1 line back and forth against the jail, and than i seen in other videos they do the same, can anyone tell me why this happens? or why they do that

  • LOL ITS THE SCOPES TRIAL ALL OVER AGAIN!!!

go back to Tennessee/ Louisiana all you creationists #LOL

  • I found the Snow Leopard! it's on my mac!!!!!

  • WTF??? Fuckin creationists in here talking their utter drivel. And here was me thinking this was a vid about a snow lepoard! ahh well

  • How could anyone shoot such a beautiful animal as a snow leopard. In my personal opinion, I'd rather shoot a human before an innocent animal!

  • @ArBiTeR0000Tactical That's pretty twisted

  • @ArBiTeR0000Tactical shooting as in taking a photo, not shooting with a gun

  • @ArBiTeR0000Tactical You would rather kill a human being than an animal? I'd love to see you say that if you had a gun in front of one.

  • @ArBiTeR0000Tactical maybe not an innocent human ...

  • @ArBiTeR0000Tactical

    sounds like Dick Cheney

  • @ArBiTeR0000Tactical preferably a racist, homophobic, evangelist anchorman on fox news.

  • @ArBiTeR0000Tactical now that's just a stupid opinion, an animal is an animal

  • wow these shots are amazing. It sucks to hear that there are so few left in this world

  • LOS LEOPARDOS SON CHULOS!!!!!!

  • amazing documentary...

  • In my opinion, the most amazing creature to have walked the planet.

  • where is the half kashmir in indian map 1:20

this chanell showing rong indian map????????

  • Boo hoo!

  • @jinsajid because kashmir is still a disputed territory between india, pakistan, and independent kashmir.

  • Makes me want to be a photojournalist for National Geographic

  • Same here :)

Does anyone know how to be one?

  • @EpicHawk Bunch of crap? Why else would it have white fur to camoflauge into the snow? Why else would it have canine teeth to tear meat from prey? Why else would it have pads on its paws to be stealthy so it can hunt? God snapped his magical fingers and it all happened right?

  • @EpicHawk Cant back up your claim? Typical blindfaithed moron.

  • @dimusik01 it is still sacred and beautiful

  • @ferch0o0 I suggest you look up "begging the question" (who), "abiogenesis" (how), as well as, "big bang", "fusion", "chemistry", and, "emergence" (molecules and matter). We're living in the information age; it shouldn't be difficult to find answers to these questions.

  • @KCityHoplite No idea. I don't even know if there's a 'because' to speak of - although there's certainly some interesting ideas floating around, if we're to assume there is. Brane cosmology, for instance.

  • @dimusik01 and god created evolution

  • @beatrydermusic I agree. God has made such beautiful things!! I am amazed everyday<3

  • really intresting

  • Pretty idiotic, reading the description. Picking up honors? For what?? Watch the BBC's Planet Earth and then Snow Leopard, Beyond the Myth.

The teams were able to follow the snow leopard with a cub for days at a time over months and years.

Looks like someone is desperate for attention.

  • @bravo45 true, no one can fuck with the bbc!

  • To put it kindly, I am no fan of BBC, but credit is due on this particular instance, so I don't hold back.

  • @bravo45 : right on! i saw that planet earth! was amazing!

  • "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." --Benjamin Franklin

  • You condemning me or complaining about me?

Care to speak on the content of my dissent?

  • Watch "BBC planet earth" chapter 2 ("mountains") they spent 18 months, and caught a magnificent video of this animal, amazing.

  • The chase scene in that is incredible. Near impossible camera work. Amazing

  • Very COOL video....

  • this reminds me of uncharted 2

  • at least one of his pics comes standard with Apple's Snow Leopard

  • they have a name lol plz dont call them cat

  • All cats are great. From the house cat to the Tiger. All Felines are similar in many ways.

  • sigh.

  • Don't forget Cheetah, Puma, Jaguar, Panther, and Kodiak! ^_^ 

  • Jaguars and Panthers are the same animal, panthers only have a pigment disfunction or overfunction so they are black^^

  • @228Ghost228 Sephiroth is joking with appleiphone3gsreview(WTF with that username) about Apple Macintosh OS.

    Greetings.

  • @228Ghost228 jaguars are not the same. you mean leopards and panthers are the same. several cats are called panther. leopard/panthers are not all black. a black leopard is often called black panther but a panther-leopard doesn't have to be black - can be normally pigmented.

  • @SephirothEGS ;) 

  • 4:43!! awesome pic!! Awesome cats!!

  • STEVE WINTER HAS SUCH A SILKY VOICE

  • Such a beautiful cat

  • this photographer sounds like he's drunk

  • i love snow leopards they are sooooooo beautiful i wish people would STOP poaching them and realize that they are the most beautiful creatures alive snow leopards and tigers are my favorite big cats :]

  • my favorite animals are a snow leopard and a tiger

  • So suddenly he has to wear robes and put a dot his head to act like locals? He's American and as such he dresses like one. Of course he brought 33 bags. He had cameras, tents, clothes etc. If he already had the equipment why would he leave it all behind and go buy new shit?

Oh yeah and the food safety in north India? Probably not very good. I'd rather bring my own stuff than run the risk of getting food poisoning from a curry dish I decided to buy locally when trying to "fit in".

  • you are so mindless and shot u have no fuckin clue...none at all lol

  • 4' long with a 3' long tail I think if it had wings it could fly. Sphinx!? Is it's tail actually larger than it's body?

  • please, PLEASE take me along next time. i am serious. i am a journalist and have worked for a conservation agency for 20 years. my greatest interest lies in making the public aware of the threatened and endangered feline species. oh, and by the way, snow leopards happen to be my favorite species. thank you for sharing your story with us.

    sincerely, barbara dematteis

  • If you search the sow leopard go easly to the Apple store XD

    what a lame joke

  • The Leopard is the greatest of all big cats.

They can hunt with their peripheral vision, stalking a false prey while the real victim doesn't realize they are being hunted, making a kill without making eye contact.

  • wow just..wow. This is why evolution pwns all of us. Even us stuck up humans, those who can adapt to survive... survive.
