@JLCL01 Err.... Actually, in the underground racing scene, if you had an engine breakdown or spin out of control in the middle of the race, it is considered a loss... With the race between Takumi and Kyoichi being seen by alot of people, even if they say it's not a race, it became official... Which is why even the so-called rematch between Takumi and Kyoichi was a tie, Kyoichi said it's a loss since he made a stipulation that Takumi have to pass him... Which Takumi clearly did by a hairline...

@sargeantbanana you just have to do research find out how much you can bore it out and how much u need to go over like 25 or 50mm over and see what longer rods you can put to increase the stroke cause i dont think they sell a stroker kit for l28s and you would have to make your own intercooler piping cause nobody sells one and im not sure about the turbo manifold but somebody would probably have to weld two flanges on it for your twin turbos cause i dont think they sell turbo manifolds either.

@mazdee626 Well there was a japanese brand selling ''kits'' to stroke the L28. It was a pre-bored head, 9mm rods, shorter pistons (to reduce what you usually have to bore) and a crankshaft (a copy of the very rare LD28 crank) BUT from my research you can get the same results using 240Z connecting rods, 240SX pistons, a LD28 crank and boring it yourself but that option means having to balance everything AND costs more. For the manifold, I would just use one from a L28ET turbo block.

@pacman728 Honestly, after all the research I've done, I realized even more than before how hard it would be to make it twin turbo. There's a guy on the hybridZ forum who is doing a complete modification of his L28, bored and stroked to 3.1L, with twin turbos and a fully custom DOHC head. His project is going on 3 or 4 years now, lots of cash invested and a lot of trial and error.

For my Z, I decided to keep it N/A. Maybe I'll stroke it one day, if I have the parts and knowledge to do so.

First of all, this is not "Maximum Tune" this is just "Wangan Midnight"....I own it, and play it through HDLoader on my PS2. Second, @ abot19, the Z will do all of 345, I JUST had it there. Third, @ lonelygstar, there is NO TOUGE racing in this game. This is WANGAN midnight, not Togue midnight. The Wangan expressway is an expressway in Tokyo used to link all of the major areas without having to deal with traffic.

I don't believe so. The cars in this show are all tuned to like 500+ hp, it's all highway racing, there aren't really teams, the races take place in the same areas mainly, and the main character tends to destory his car everytime he fixes it. Still though a very good show my favorite
