By all fair reviewers sonic didnt have good transition hands down. Also it only takes two hits to kill sonic in all his games(not super form) Mario in 3d takes at least 8(sunshine, 64) and 3(max 6) in galaxy. Plus mario CAN swim. Sonic cant. they are both great characters and good franchises. I just like mario more due to awesome powerups

I really loved how the final boss wasn't a creature or monster. It made it seem that Eggman did this all by himself and he is the true villain of this game. I also really liked how you didn't use Super Sonic to beat the final boss.

From simply running Green Hill to fighting a liquid creature, stopping a planet-destroyer laser, fighting his mechanical copy for the 100th time, a timereaver god, a dark monster that turned him into a werehog, going in a interstellar park and soon travelling back in time through all his previous adventures. Sonic is one of my favorite video game characters. He is always speed and platforming, is games are just different and innovating. I played 'em all and they were all AMAZING! Sonic forever!

@hockeater Just because I said a timereaver god? 06 was rushed and I do consider it as one of the lamest Sonic games, but it did had its fun parts. Solaris had epic music and another point I liked from the game was the challenge. Colors was great, but way too easy for me. Another reason I did enjoy it to a decent point is that I know worst games than that. Is it a problem for you? If you can accept that I saw some good potential in 06, I respect that you didn't like it.

@MegaGlassguy Oh I'm not saying the game was the worst in every category. I was just highly incredulous that it was on a list of sonic games in a positive comment is all. I do like sonic as a series but too often they forget one crucial aspect. Sonic should be fast period. If his game is played at mach speed most of the way then what makes it not intrinsically worse than mario? The day stages in unleashed, mach 06 MAYBE, and most of colors understood this. I really hope generations does too.
