  • daigo plays fucking cheap

  • @spacedonlife

so what is he supposed to do? Play the way you dictate him to so his opponent actually has a chance? He's trying to win here, not to please fanboys or w/e. The less chance the opponent has and the more pressure the better. You don't have a bushido "honorable" way to play this game, You use what you have to beat the crap out of your opponent the fastest way you can.

  • @spacedonlife

If not, he'll lose the match, go home from the single elim tournament, and win nothing in return for his efforts as a player. Nobody is going to go easy on you or not play "cheap" within the rules provided in any kind of fight. If the opponent's right hook leaves his head open, you damn better hit his head before he comes out with something worse.

  • Daigo = Patience personified...

  • 0:55ウメハラの思考ふっキレてるww だが、もっと凄いのは「井上の真空波動!!」つってる実況wwww 井上誰だよ 俺の空耳か?

  • Daigo has no emotions!

  • @killinunderoath Not true. He smiled at EVO2011 against Showstopper. It was very rare footage of Daigo actually smiling.

  • @killinunderoath Damn you right, this guy is cold

  • @killinunderoath I actually thought he was going to lose at first, but nope! Daigo mode enters at 1 HP.

  • @stretchypants123

    He's continually in K or S groove.

  • Why does Muteki do jabs right after Sonic Booms?

  • Muteki = fuckin gay

  • @TheDorapapi321 Shut up douche Muteki is awesome.

  • @TheDorapapi321 As much as I like Daigo, I really see no reason to insult another player at all~

  • @TheDorapapi321 TheDorapapi321 = A fucking idiot.

  • This is seriously why ST is a really hardcore game, one poorly spaced fireball and you'll be eating a jump in combo that potentially will 100% you. Likewise character spacing and momentum is so important a player can and will sacrifice most of their health to push their opponent into a bad and almost inescapable situation.

  • 0:56, He has the face of a man who should go home and be a family man.

  • 0:55 wow....

  • Daigo was like " wtf with this guy ? noob... no need to scream or laugh " xD

  • this is from the 1st ever sbo?

  • Why so serus daigo?

  • wooow, look at daigo.. so still

  • LOL Daigo still looks exactly the same. It's like he never ages...

  • @dss103 lol.... look at him in rl . youll be like oh

  • @strifechox Orly?

  • Why are there always a bunch of scrubs watching and commenting on tournament match videos?Daigo is just a spammer? What kind of ignorant shit is that?

  • Guile is pretty good! But that Ryu is just a spammer... All the battle was "hadouken!, Hadouken!"

  • @GothicJaime so what? thats how you play ryu

  • @GothicJaime Spammer = made up word for noobs

  • @reniisgod For noobs!? HAHAHA!! holy shit! xD everybody is in love with that guy!

  • @GothicJaime Im not but I still know the difference between spamming aka just throwing things out constantly with no knowledge of footsies, set-ups, and whatnot and good zoning. Ryu isnt a rush-down character, he is a zoning character, especially in SF2.

  • DAIGO'S GIRLFRIEND IS STILL VIRGIN. WORD.

  • Muteki (Big Bird) vs Daigo (Ryu)

  • Imagine the girls Diago has sex with.... They never know when he is about to orgasm or if they are pleasing him. Imagine his friends, they never know if they pissed him off enough to where he is about to murder them in their sleep.

  • daigo with his patented 'xanax stare'

  • Muteki seems to be having fun with it whereas Daigo's dead serious!

  • Muteki :-) :-O :-D

    Daigo -_-

  • 0:58 that japs face lmfao

  • -___- this is Daigo making an incredible comeback

  • This guile is actually pretty good

  • @reniisgod understatement, muteki is a beast, probably the best Guile player in ST.

  • guile would have won if he had his WW sonic boom voice.

  • (-_-)

  • I'm more impressed with the guile then the spammer

  • @jfachris definatly dude. that guile player had some skill. anyone can spam fireballs

  • Man, I just can't get with SF2.

I know the genre had to start somewhere but SF2 is just...I dunno, playing it seems to be a lot about the waiting game and locking down. There's like no room for back and forth battles.

  • @HinataChan30 you're thinking about it too shallowly. medium level sf2 play is crazy back and forth with comebacks and stuff. high level is so evolved that this "stalemate" is actually an intense mind game to make the other player mess up. just waych some videos of some japanese t. hawk players. once they get in, they win. no mistakes.

  • @fliperotchy naah i don't think so, it's all about recuperation not skill level. No matter how good a proffesional is, they're still humans and they make LOTS of mistakes. Look at daigo for example, u know why he is so good? not because he has crazy skills..naah, anobody can do that stuff (well most of it) it's because he doesn't let mistakes mind-fuck him, pros make mistakes all the time, but they're there because they now how to get over them very quickly and think of a solution.

  • Daigo = Poker Face -_-

  • Muteki: D: o___o... ^__^

    Daigo: -_-

  • The japanese commentator just makes an exciting match even more exciting, even tho I dont understand what he was saying, I felt the excitment in his voice.

  • @IrrepressibleGuile I could get it when he says SHINKUU HADOU at the end of the first round, and DOUBLE SOMERSAULT when Guile lands his super at the second round. But really, Japanese commentators are amazing.

  • -_-

  • Daigo is the GOD of Street Fighter. Much respect.

  • -_-

  • -_-

  • -_-

  • its guys like daigo the reason the USA dropped two atomic bombs on japan. look at how he treats street fighter.

  • @druha10304 thats a horrible thing to say.....

  • pqp. n tem como se concentrar com um narrador chato do carai q nem esse! kkkkk

  • Daigo, you can't be :I when you do both losing and winning xD

  • 46 is how many i counted

  • i love how daigo absolutely has no soul. he never goes like "^.^" or "o.O"

  • @Arekai1404 You mean emotions. Soul is something different ...

  • I love Daigo's reaction after round one. He was like Daigo: oh Super to your face... And Meteki was like Metuki: OMFGWTF SUPER TO MY FACE!!!!!

  • When all else fails spam Hadouken!!!!!!

  • BATTLE OF THE SPAMMERS!!!!!!!

  • :47 standard daigo rape time

  • Daigo's thoughts at 0:56-0:58 - "YEAH BITCH!! SUCK IT!! IM F*KING DAIGO SON!!"

Daigo's thoughts at 1:42-1:44 - "Oh so it's like that, huh? What, you think you're better than me or something? Hell no. It's on. Let's go. Next round you're dead."

Daigo's thoughts at 2:12-2:14 - "U GOT NOTHING!! U GOT NOTHING ON ME SON!! IM F*KING LEAVIN' NOW. S-E-R-V-E-D."

  • @NeoZai1 I got such a great laugh out of that comment. Job well done lol, thumbsed up

  • lol 1 round daigo spams him to death xD

  • loved the way Daigo just switiched to offensive last round...throw the guile player off

  • @midnizite since when did he play defensive?? He's been spamming hadouken since first round, that's offensive enough. What were u watching?

  • @MrShadowz1337 he was keeping him at bay with fireballs, which is a defensive tactic. He switched to offensive at the end and actually attacked, which is offensive. Fireballs in of themselves are offensive, but the way Daigo used them was defensive.

  • @midnizite Daigo was playing aggressive since the beginning, that's offensive. Therefore, he didn't use the fireball defensively. If you think Daigo was playing defensive at the start, i'd like to see how you classify those who turtles in the corner and blocks the majority of the time.

  • @MrShadowz1337 Spamming fireballs is defensive, point blank.

  • @midnizite look how many times daigo walks forward compared to how many times he walks back. he's playing offensively, abusing ryu's natural advantage over guile (being able to throw fireballs at a faster rate, due to not having to charge) to force muteki to either get backed into a corner or guess jump and potentially get anti-aired. there is nothing defensive about his play here.

  • @polarity55 That's not saying much, since the natural motion of doing a fire ball requires moving the stick forward.

Anyway, this is getting tiresome. My original comment was really about how he switched tacticts unexpectedly that last round, coming straight at him rather spamming. It seemed to catch his opponent off guard.

  • @midnizite Defensive: See Guile from 0:40 - 0:50.

  • @MrShadowz1337 u are some stupid asshole. This is how u play this game and they play it beautifully. U must be some of those pussies "omg! stop doing that! that's cheating omg omg" Fggt. This match is a war, not a fuckkking prom dance. When do this losers are going to understand that anything u can do in a game is valid!! if u dont use it, ur enemy is going to use it...... and kick the shiit out of you

  • As usual, Daigo with the "-_-..." look.

  • @NewZen41 forever easy wins for he

  • @kuebradera

As true as Daigo stays to his fans. The look is the look of THE Beast.

  • Great comeback from Daigo in the first round.

  • The guy who plays Guile freaks me the fuck out...

  • lol Daigo looks bored.

  • Has Daigo ever considered playing poker?

  • 0_O!!!! Vs -.-

  • At least Muteki is enjoying himself. That's what counts. ^_^

  • @Kyuubi424 Daigo is enjoying himself too, just not physically.

  • @Saeng1021 Fair enough.

  • Does anyone else notice how much of a puss guile sounds like

  • @hedgehog547 him and BARLOG both got that treatment in super turbo

  • Muteki---> OMGWTF PAWNZ =D =D =O

    Daigo ---> -.-

  • この実況好きだ

  • LMFAOOOO diagos face is saying.. noob.. ok round 2

  • 0:58 daigo thinking "DAMN i'm good, these people just don't know"

muteki "my eyes, my eyes, too much salt in my eyes.. ok i'm ready"

  • the first round was awesome!

  • 0.58 Daigo uses incredible skill to come back in a very tight spot.

Emotion change from -_- to -__-

  • 0:56 "Just according to keikaku"

  • @SweetTeefe your stupid lol

  • @3102485 these guys are scrubs i canl beat them on xbox live

  • @SweetTeefe

On xbox live these guys dont give a shit what scrub they're facing. thx for the input.

  • @SweetTeefe & why don't we know who you are? Oh that's right, because you're not good enough to play at the pro level. If you was then you'd be making the kind of bucks these guys do at tournaments.

  • damn diago its almost like hes not even intrested in any of the sf's

  • Street Fighter's evolved a lot since then, I'd say. Zoning was much more basic, it just consisted of "spamming" hadouken. In that respect, Daigo's being "good", especially when you look at how you're meant to use Ryu. Nowadays, people are complaining about spamming due to III's careful, strategic gameplay (look at EVO 2004 vs Justin) and IV's potential to pull off six billion hit combos with a huge diversity of characters.

Listen to Ace Attorney's Larry Butz: "That was then, and this is now."

  • @StefanSama45177 you are a huge scrub

  • @StefanSama45177 Almost none of what you said is true in any sense.

  • @meirus Using none to describe all doesn't make any sense .

  • @XxGonixXFAN It makes perfect sense. If I need to dumb it down for you, I said that basically he didn't say anything that was true.

  • @meirus XxGonixXFAN was referring only to the "Almost none" part. You can't say all of none. Its like saying my refridgerator is packed full of 0 beers. It doesn't make sense. So, you're better off saying what you mean like this: All of what you said is not true in any possible sense

  • @Pwnerriffik We don't need to argue about the usage of the language, it's obvious what I meant and what I was trying to convey.

  • @meirus I just got XxGonixXFAN's back because he corrected you in a respectful way, yet you tried to make him look like a dumbass when it was yourself that was wrong. I don't care about the usage of language; I knew what you meant, but your reaction to the correction is what made me reply.

  • @Pwnerriffik I find his reaction was just as bad as mine. Otherwise I wouldn't have responded that way. It's not that hard to understand what I was saying, in any case.

  • @meirus Not really, he just made a respectful correction. He didn't call you a dumbass or n00b or whatever. Just corrected you and said nothing more, nothing less. That kind of correction is a rarity on the internet, which is why I saw fit to get his back.

  • @Pwnerriffik That definitely wasn't as respectful as you claim it was.

  • @meirus He didn't call you dumbass nor did he try to make you look like a dumbass. That's a plus in the internet world.

  • @Pwnerriffik You don't have to outright say something to imply it.

  • @meirus "Implying," sometimes is subjective.

  • daigo = = l

    No expression change. Ever.

  • @Ks0ccer pure focus

  • I like the part where Diego used Hadouken.

  • Back in these old SF's, the fireball was OP. Characters' jump was bit on the slow side so you could spam fireballs til they jumped into a shoryu and generally be alright. More recent SF's made the jumps more swift making the fireball spam easier to punish. Just an observation

  • Answer me this, if its so easy to do and such a simple newb tactic, then why can't you get out of it? Are your skills lacking so bad you can't beat a simple fireball trap?

What about tick throws, I suppose you'll really scream then. I even had a guy try to fight me back in the arcade days when I first started playing over simple sonic boom then standing fierce/crouching fierce when he jumped. Don't blame us for your lack of skill, become better get out of it, be unpredictable, then you'll win.

  • muteki has the scariest fucking grin i have ever seen.

  • Gotta be amazed by the amount of skill he displayed by just spamming qcf+p

    for the first round.

  • @meow1324 you're a clown

  • @meow1324 spam is not the right word here

  • It's official, Diago is a robot created for the sole purpose of playing SF, and SF related games. No emotion, just game play, he has longer has fun with any of it.

  • "I ALMOST HAD YOU DAWG!" is written all over dude's face. LOL

  • from .40 seconds to 51 seconds daigo played weak

  • @MemoJr414 troll elsewhere

  • i like how daigo's so humble lol

  • Daigo is such an emotionless prick. At least try to enjoy it.

  • @Quantooce LOL i know yeah he has no emotions

  • @Quantooce agreed. prick

  • @Quantooce Modesty is a mind game in itself. Just because he doesn't jump and down like a school boy bitch doesn't make him a emotionless prick.

  • i love how you guys either, call the gameplay cheap, or think you can do better than some of the best players in japan. fucking youtube comment retards.

  • hm...what turbo mode is played on tournaments? turbo 2 or 3? this is turbo 3, but I saw most videos are turbo 2.

  • That was awesome!

  • As a Guile player I have to admit that he was doing very well in round one than lost it, in 3 there was so many opertunities for a flash kick while he was down it was ridicules, but he was more concerned with backing up and it cost him, could have been the presure though. If I had to use any one in a tournement it would be ken speed and power, ken owns! Not to mention cheap.

  • Honestly Ken Masters is the best charecter to play with the rest cannot compare:)

  • I'd suck Daigo's cock dry.

  • @brunfist lol

  • @brunfist lolol

  • it is not cheap its just the fact that ryu has a big advantage when cornering someone the simple fact is that guile is a mid range character but once he gets backed up it over unless you get out of the corner or produce a ridiculous combo that gets you out. I myself am a guile player

  • with guile your biggest advantage is having the ability to back up with ryu it's pressing forward that's what makes it a good matchup

  • Daigo really spammed that Hadouken.

  • How the fuck can he that qcf motions so many times in Succession <:O

  • Most people look at these fights and all they see are a bunch of hadokens. They say that daigo is just a fuckin spammer, but the reality is that there are lots of ignorants that dont even know what a hadoken really does. All they see are a bunch of empty punches, but they really dont know there is a lot going on behind the scene. The dont know about priority, they think daigo did that last move just for the giggles. They dont know shit and therefore all the can say is: SPAMMER. Faggs..

  • @TheDonaldduck911 Dewd you must be fucking retarded or something, @0:42 there was really nothing but Hadoken spam yeah he does different Hadokens but it's not like OMG SO PRO. Please.

  • @jebril *sigh* first of all you're an idiot.Dude, what is your definition of *pro*? If you think being pro is all about doing crazy combos well, let me tell you, you're wrong. Any newbie can make any combo. Yeah he's spamming hadokens but he's not just doing *different hadokens* (like some retards say). He was keeping the distance. Notice that by spamming lots of hadokens he's adding pressure and eventually guile would try to get out of there and make a mistake. That's when you make your move.

  • @TheDonaldduck911 The only thing I argued was that it was cheap situation and that people who were complaining about spamming were saying that. I understand what he was doing as explained in a previous comment.

  • @jebril well then Mr. I-dont-know-how-to-express-myself im sorry. If you really meant that, you should try to explain yourself a little bit better.

  • @TheDonaldduck911 I'm sorry too bro haha, you're funneh. x]

  • @TheDonaldduck911 Ryu is for noobs!

  • @ImLastBoss *sniff* *sniff* smells like trollz

  • i feel like this matchup is a lil unfair since guiles atks have a short charge up time where as ryus are faster.

  • At least show some emotion daigo

  • spamming doesnt exist by your definition because you're calling it like the game is broken and you can do one move over and over to victory. you can counter every manuever, if your being 'spammed' then your being outplayed by the other player taking advantage of your inability to recognize the same attack over and over.

  • Daigo is a Spamer Hadoken hadoken

  • He had that first round locked up but, he chocked.

Second round, good come back off the super.

    Third...Daigo worked his magic.

  • This is a great match for me because I got the games for my ps2

  • Daigo was not in the match!! Et you noob saying "hadoken hadoken hadoken" . You must use Hadoken when u play Ryu.

"No skill" hellocrazy1 said just one word for this :LOL

  • no skill

  • First Round:

Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Crouch Punch x 3, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Tatsumaki Senpukyaku, Hadoken, Shoryuken, Super, Hadoken, Jump, Throw, Kick, Tatsumaki Senpukyaku, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Hadoken, Tatsumaki Senpukyaku, Jump, Hadoken, Airborne Tatsumaki, Super.

    Daigo Is RIDICULOUS!

  • hadoken hadoken hadoken hadoken hadoken hadoken hadoken hadoken hadoken

  • @Clockicker sonic boom sonic boom

  • @ringingcanbeef Hadokennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

  • What does SBO stand for?

  • daigo was maaaaad friggin focused....but muteki was enjoying himself.....looked like daigo would've went home and commited jisatsu if he failed....
