What that guy failed to mention was that God also told us to take care of the world and be its stewards ie if we see a problem such as global warming, we should be taking steps to do our best to reverse it. What's the saying again? God helps those who help themselves.

I think global warming might be a problem, but whether its happening or not, a lot of the solutions should be implemented anyway. Carbon taxes are just a way to let the largest corporations pollute while the smaller competition gets killed off through taxes they can't afford. We should find alternatives to gasoline that don''t cause oil spills, ecological havoc, and war.

@mdelair420 I hate to break it to you dear - (I mean most of us learned this in 4th grade) - but WE do not vote on 'bills or laws'. That is what our elected officials do in city councils and state legislatures and in Congress.

@PeterFormaini I know thatduh?My point is we dont get to vote on things that matter.The founding fathers did not want the congress to control the offices they do.They were no dif than the president was,, a 2 term limit..Somehow they found a loop hole and now make camp in the halls of congress.The founding fathers would be pissed off about the way we have shit on their system..I say they seem to want to rule like kings.The whole reason they made it a 2 term policy is to not lack in new ideas.

@PeterFormaini I was trying to convey the fact that they go to war without a U.S citizens vote on it..You think you know so much..Wake the fuck up.You dont belive me look it up.You think a stupid ass person who care not about me or my family votes for my important issues give me a break.U know the last thing i got to vote on was a net ban because all the fishermen here were destroying the wildlife..That was a issue i made it illegal with the help of other voters to gill net fish like they did.
