Frank oz is funny, Pass the butter! this video is quiet like Jim Henson. I had to turn my a/c off and stop playing 2k11 to watch it. Henson is a genius. Im sure he was like an outcast when he was younger.
Watching the Rolf shorts on Jimmy Dean was funny. That is funny tv!! Classic, not that crap they have on today :))) Jim Henson was a strange person himself and his work was very adult themed (like Dr. Seuss) and he brought that magic and strangeness to the screen with his muppets. genius
In response to miro108, Rowlf was one of several instances in which Jim Henson did the voice and the head but Frank Oz did the hands. This technique reached its pinnacle with the Swedish Chef, where Frank Oz's REAL hands spend most of the skits randomly throwing objects around.
Now, did I get right? Rowlf was played by Jim and sometimes by Frank Oz, too?? I wonder how they kept the voice the same. Interesting how Rowlf changed from a prankster into a jazz piano player and crooner.
Those commercials r awesome I wish commercials could still b cool like the ones Jim Henson made

You say; "That Ed Sullivan clip @ 4:28 fetures the song Java by Al Hirt"
And i answer; "The "puppets" at 4:28 was named Java, too!"

That Ralph looks like Tommy, one of the puppets who has been living for years in the Dutch Sesamestreet.
Thanks for uploading this, I love Jim Hensons work, cause you can really see the passion for his work in everything.

LOL at 0:17-0:21, when Frank Oz shouts "Pass the butter!".
His voice sounded like a mixture of several of the characters that he performed, including Fozzie, Animal, Sam Eagle and Cookie Monster. :D

It's so funny how the hosts of the talk shows the muppets appeared on can't help but laugh when a muppet does or says something hilarious.
