Definitely worth restoring - won't be cheap, but things like this are getting rarer.

The thing needs a restoration by a good watchmaker. The movement alone is worth $20K in good working order.

This is a beauty of an old pocket watch. Good video.

It looks and sounds to me like a lever is contacting the governing fan for the strike. Notice the scratching sound and the hesitated movement of the lifting hammer. This is just what I noticed. For all I know it might supposed to be like that.
