@colourfulwithaU No it happens over time with wire brushes, you can try to bend them back if you like, but it isn't critical. It's also normal for wire brushes to loose wires on occasion. If the bends become annoying you can even remove them if wanted.
lovely demonstration... i really liked the intro beat part till 0:16... and its true that in the tutorial part ur hi hat sounds kinda bad... otherwise awesome tutorial... thanks:)
Great Ability to clearly explain, Sacha! Would you mind explaining the placement of the hands (with Brushes) during fill-ins and most importantly getting BACK into the rhythm. For example, do you always have to return the Right hand to the 1 position on the snare etc.?
@esariite Really? I though it was pretty clear. Is it all the way or just toward the end during the exercises? What video quality were you watching in?
@esariite ...I almost agree with you EXCEPT that I can hear it making a flatter sound (almost like a thump) instead of the way I (and maybe you ) set it to like a crisp" chich" type sound.
My brushes have a lot of bent wires. Is that bad?

I would like to see how to play a fill and then get back to the beat....focusing on the hand placements on the snare drum when returning to the beat.
Thanx!
