second of all just because a band member is christian doesn't mean that the songs cant be atheistic try 'number of the beast'

another great example is SLAYER, most of their bands members are christian, including the lead singer and bassist(tom araya), however their songs are very antichrist, thanks to Kerry king(rhythm guitar) who writes all the lyrics

yah testament is much underrated band, i am a big fan of testament, they use many styles, from ballads to death metal songs, they have a huge array of style and ZAZ, unlike many other bands

Yep Almost all old skool and some New generation bands are christian just not very open about it.

BLS and Zakk Wylde, not a christian band, but they sing against satan and evil in suicide messiah, and couterfeit god

Slayer is another example. They're all catholic except Kerry kings he's athiest. And all the songs with hell and satan mentioned they say how evil and tortourous it is. so they're NOT saying hail satan they are say Hell/satan is suffering and death.

The latest Slayer (Christ illusion) album is based on the perspective of a terrorist, (which is an agent of satan). I know this cause I meet them in atlanta when they were on tour there. My first cousin is a security guard so he lets me in ALL the time.

Anytime. Mankind is naturally judgemental towards things it doesn't understand, what mankind conciters evil most of the time really isn't just misunderstood. Now thats not to say there isn't evil in this world, because there is evil (racisim, hate, lies, and satan). Metal in general is viewed as evil because of its style, but in General its not just misunderstood. true there are satanic bands, but alot are chrisitan just not open about.

@QUEVIVAELMETAL One good example is Alice Cooper he is a rock/metal legend and influnced many bands. In his early carreer he left god for the whole drugs sex and rock n roll life style, but he saw the errors of his ways and went back to Jesus, and he is very open about this in many interviews.
