  • I'm not sure but is suede like bear-paw boots? I have bad stains on them an this seems helpful but is that what suede is? Thanks!

  • Hi Katie. Do you know how to clean other stuff? I have an old book that I need to clean before I can sell it, its in great shape but needs a cleanin. I'm a guy so i'm not great at this. thanks.

  • Awesome! Thanks for the tip.

  • You look disgusted when you hold those shoes :)

  • Great Tip Katie! Thanks. Don't get much salt on our shoes down here in the south, but now my knowledge has expanded.

  • Hey...New to the Youtube scene..so had a question. Are you using an external webcam or internal? Ive tried to make some vids but it has a very bad lag and the volume is low..I almost have to yell. Im using a laptop internal webcam. Didnt know if you had any luck with an internal or maybe I should go get an external. Anyways, Cheers.

  • @ScubaDiverPicker I'm actually using a Sony Bloggie but i edit my videos in Windows Movie Maker and save them in a lower resolution so they upload quicker to YouTube. I wouldn't recommend the Bloggie though. The auto-focus on it is kinda crazy sometimes, and you can hear clicking noises sometimes in the audio.

  • this is awesome! just what i have been needing! thanks. (:

  • Great Tip!

I will keep that in mind when i have salt stains

    Thanks

  • Best to use White vinegar right?

  • ohio nice place i was born there

  • Cool, does it also work on crusty socks and underpants?

  • You're like the Goodwill/vintage store MacGyver.

  • I sometimes get those on my pants.

  • I hate science!

  • i'm amazed by KMP!!

  • I swear Vinegar is a miracle liquid. You can use it in Veggie sprays, as a multisurface cleaner, you name it. It is a great great environmentally friendly item.

  • I see also people recommending same technique with uggs.. just watch using too much vinegar on wool because acids can dissolve it

  • Next video should be.... "How to Remove Vinegar Smell From Suede Boots!" Good Job, Katie! Can't wait to see the next tip. BTW, here in Nashville, our Goodwill Outlet sells stuff for $0.59 a pound! Bought 3 snap back hats for $0.59 and sold them for $8.99 each! Thanks for the tip!

  • Rampage branded boots?

  • How the heck do you get salt on your shoes?

  • @ArizonaPublic When it snows people put salt everywhere on the roads, sidewalks. So it gets on your shoes.

  • @ArizonaPublic You must be from Arizona

  • @ArizonaPublic At every meal when you throw a little salt over your shoulder, sometimes is lands on your shoes. Sometimes you drop french fries and they land on your shoes.

  • Salt and vinegar react to form sodium acetate and hydrochloric acid.

    NaCl + CH3COOH --> NaCH3COO + HCl

Must be safe because we eat salt and vinegar chips!
