I agree, it is crazy what some of these lots and houses are going for. People don't relize, that this is a third world country, screw the ambiance. All materials have to be shipped/flown in and not on your time but, Belizian time table i.e. hurry up and wait. Plus petrol/gas is now $10.00 a liter/gal. as of last report 2011. No mega tool/home supply store, no mega needful things stores,Notta. Your right, seems as though, those who have, have more money than sense.

certainly sounds relaxing untill you have to chop 4 cords of wood for the winter woodstove. I live in Canada and still love a Sunny winter escape to the Islands, lol

lolol.. Yankee city slickers have more money then sense. I cant sit in my house and watch deer, black bear and probably even an alligator down the street from me right here in Georgia USA, in my 3 bedroom house on acre of land for less than 40 grand. all the ocean and fishing in the world less than two hours away. The prettiest smokey mountains less than 4 hours away. Hellfire, Ive even got over 160 acres for 2500 an acre slam full of hunting.
