  • This movie, just like the American West, defines "Politically incorrect" .

  • Dont lecture me. Gheez. this is sickening. If life imitated art. John Wayne knew exactly what movie he was making and what it means to us guys who have unruly women and it is hillarious. Go complain about men at a womens rights group and leave men alone you crazy lady!!!

  • @wthjrtx1 Thewhole discussion you brought in about womens rights wasn,t relevant. Of course poepole should have rights and women are people too. It is like the pot calling the kettle black when you say I.m crazy. Thinking or saying that men should be superior was never meant to be.re the words "womens rights group",there had to be such because a lot of men(but not all men) were mistrating women.

  • @wthjrtx1 When you say leave men alone, the atttude you,ve shown isn,t how men are or supposed to be,so I was only complaining about some men.

I don,t know why John Wayne was divorced three times,if he had the same attitude as you have, then I know why.

You,re right your 'traditional' attitude is sickening.

  • @ThePearlofeire

Look here lady. You dont seem to have a problem at all with the way Maureen treats him. And everyone else.

When women pour concrete. dig dithces. ride trash trucks .hang steel .weld. work the oil rigs and get DRAFTED to fight the front lines What We MEN do is a gift to you. Shut up and be grateful.

  • @ThePearlofeire

Save the Feminazi crap. Sweetheart. WE dont get to sit at Starbucks and quack like a bunch of hens. The Director of this movie is Patrick Wayne. The Dukes Son!

You ungrateful spinning freaks of nature are a disease. The women who married Wayne hit the lottery. I know so called women who are hair dressers who have been married more than 3 X Dumb argument.

  • @ThePearlofeire

It is relevant. This is what you are proposing. We are superior..GOD made us that way. You do the work of a man for 30-40 years honey. You cant. You know it. But you headcases try to pick your spots and challenge us at the copy machine or gift giving.

Honey, You ran slap into a REAL RODEO COWBOY from TEXAS. Who like most of my friends has taken a beating by todays equal women. Horseshit!!

But you expect us to be honorable, loyal and attentive.

  • @ThePearlofeire

While yours get to write laws, rule the court system. child laws. Get what we work for and you want the right to behave or jusify anything you want. Your insane.

I know exactly what i am writing about. I got my point of view out of hared earned experience. Along with 1000's more like me.

No more listening to your whining spill...In my house. I'm the boss. MY country is failing in large part to your rhetoric. When we go all the way down your kind are in trouble

  • @ThePearlofeire

You cant win. You just got to hope I or we fall into a dummy trance and buy into the feminist religion...You have no REAL argument because what WE men do is a gift to you. If you actually have a job. Thank a MAN who is framing a house or crawling a crawl space to fix a busted pipe to feed his kids.

I am traditional like my Dad and Grandad before him. My mother and grandmother did not go without. The mistake was your agenda. We all loose at your game.

  • Using the fireplace shovel as a paddle was a nice touch. But he should have lifted up her dress and pulled down her underwear. She needed to be paddled on the bare.

  • @Akira62881 That would not have been right

  • 4:57, Well, you told him to shoot him.

  • 16, and I get irritated when someone calls me "dude". By DEFINITION, I am not a "Dude". I don't care that they try to change the meaning of the word, like they do "gay".

  • They all deserve a good spanking. Lesson's learned.

  • This is when men were men!!!

  • Mrs O'HARA. is one GREAT ACTRESS

  • Well, I suppose she had it coming.

"I said that any girl who'd permit a man to kiss her before they are formally engaged is a trollop!" *dad agrees, silently* "He said it again! Shoot him"

"Now hold on..." "No, don't hold on. If you're my father and you love me, then you'll shoot him. " Well, I'm your father , and I sure love you, so..." *BANG*

    "Ohh you shot him!?"

Favorite movie exchange second to, "I've got a touch of hangover bureaucrat, don't push me!"

  • I should have turned my EX across my knee. We watched this together and she said." Don't you even think about it"

She knew she had it coming...

Makes this even better than it was to me before.....

    John Wayne is tha Man!!!!

The women are Maureen O'hara and Stephanie Powers! Beautiful Ladies

  • @wthjrtx1 "she knew she dhad it coming" this film isn,t serious and shouldn,t be used to support woman bashing opionions such as yours. The whole point of the film is that both G.W. and Katherine are as bad as each other.

  • @ThePearlofeire

What horseshit....Women have the courts. Employers, The whole damn system at their disposal. Your an idiot. Shut up. She rode him and rode him till he had enough. I wish I would have bent mine over my knee and might have done hr some good. She was like you a spoiled brat. Grateful she is gone and I know what to stay away from. You cry baby whiner pig.everything you could want and you cry. What a loooser!!

  • @wthjrtx1 @wthjrtx1 "she was like you a spoiled brat" You don,t know me.

Stop taking the movie seriously. The point of the film was that both characters were unreasonable towards each other."Grateful she is gone" What do you mean, the character wasn,t "gone",(nor is the actress in real life, but I hope thats not what you meant).

  • @wthjrtx1 In real life "no one would have tolerated " bent mine over my knee and might have done hr some good. " and also you never owned the woman you call "mine".

This movie is not justifying the notion that men should boss over women and women should be x y or z-it doesn,t have any agenda, its just entertainment.Don,t use films to justify your attitude.

It doesn,t show what you think might be John Waynee,s opinion or anyone elses for that matter.

  • @ThePearlofeire

All your trying to do is take down the ALPHA male and have him bend to your twisted control. The truth is you suck and so does every warped weak and lost women out there just like you....have a Merry Christmas and I pray for every man that crosses your path this holiday season...

  • @wthjrtx1 I have no issue with the Alpha Male as long as he does not think that he is superior to women and does not mistreat women, children, the poor and other men.

  • @ThePearlofeire "It doesn,t show what you think might be John Waynee,s opinion or anyone elses for that matter." It is you that statement applies to. I happen to know for a fact that for example Maureen O Hara was treated as af inferior(and she is a woman by the way).It is the director who decides what is to be done in a film,John Wayne and the others just do what the director tells them to do. Director might havve an agenda but mainly the film above is just comedy, nothing else.

  • Shoot him Daddy! haha!

  • The best line of the movie I laughed so hard I about had a heart attack.

    And I am not intoxicated.---------YYYET!

  • and i am not intoxicated, YET! my fav line!

  • Should have shown more of the spanking.

  • and i am not Intoxicated.......*slam door*....YET!! lol love that quote

  • i love it all. I never admired John Wayne before but spanking a woman to settle a dispute is just flat out awesome!

  • @wiecbb11 This is a funny movie but it spanking does not make a woman like a man,in fact the opposite.

  • @ThePearlofeire I guess it used to back then. I dont believe in abusing a female neither, but that sure was funny, especially when DADDY hands him a foriegn object to do so. Any other time I would be disgusted by it, but not in this movie.

  • @nflannery59,so long as people don,t think people should behave like this in real life -but anyway Maureen is 90 years old today.....so she survived this spanking(;. But according to her book she had an operation before doing this film and didn,t tell anyone about it so some scenes/stunts could have been risky for her and she mentiones the mud sliding scene.

  • @nflannery59 There are films of mowadays where the violent are worse and the film really means to hate women far more than this one. Although I heard John Ford the director had a bad temper and was odd, sometimes odd with attitudes towards women.

  • @wiecbb11 It didn,t settle anything,it just shows that both G.W. and Katherine were quarrelsome. G.W is not in the right as you semm to think.

  • AND I AM NOT INTOXICATED... YET

    greatest line ever :)

  • She deserved it. So did O'hara,at the end of the movie.

  • There's a bizarre BDSM theme running through this movie. Just count the number of times people are spanked or that women are turned on by violence.

  • And I am not Intoxicated!...YET!!!

John Wayne = Pure Awesomeness that is all!

  • "You spanked my daughter?" (smiling and pointing with cigar: "Dev!"

  • I remember watching this as a kid, all the time. Such a great movie, probably one of my favorite John Wayne movies after "The Quiet Man".

  • Quiet Man is just superb.

  • It's my favorite movie of all time. Not only great acting by the Duke and Maureen, but also great acting by Barry Fitzgerald.

  • Probably one of my most favorite and memorable scenes is the Court hearing 7:07. Filmed entirely on Old Tucson Studios' Mexican Plaza; the same plaza and mission from the 1939 Arizona. The cavalry man 8:17 who states' "Sargent, seat those Indians" I DO believe is Bob Shelton, founder of Old Tucson Studios who made the park's history so memorable.

  • And I am not intoxicated......... YET

  • Dude, I watched this video in History class, I laughed so hard, that my desk fell frontward, but my best friend (a girl), caught me, hugged me, and held my hand. :) Good memories!

  • *(a girl)* CUTE! ; )

  • Patrick Wayne... a chip off the old block, lol

  • Love thiese type of John Wayne movies. Been looking for Big Jake, another good one with Maureen O'Hara.

  • My fave. line in this movie, "And I'm not intoxicated...yet!" LOL, I LOVE IT!

  • that's Jerry Van Dyke right?

  • This is the (second) best scene in the movie.

  • Stupid movie fun fact.. the sgt that was siting the indians down is the same guy who played the gun smith in Eldorado Sweed larson bad spelling im alotabit drunk atm sorry.

  • @MG135711 I do see his point of view, although McClintock is not extreme as the women hating movies of today.

  • I just love 5:33

I thought, mclintock would stop him, but just wanted to help him^^

  • Patrick looks so much like his daddy when john was younger and i think Patrick has his daddy's smile and they were both very sexy when they were younger if you agree please respond by thumbs up thank you

  • This is my favorite part of the whole movie! I love the whole "shoot him Daddy" scene. Soooo funny! Thanks for sharing! :)

  • This is one of the funniest scenes - like daughter, like mother! And Drago is sooo funny - "and I got the kind of manners that don't stop me from sayin so!" HA! I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!

  • yeah but they sure deserved it haha

  • It's funny. You can't take everything so seriously.

  • @florapikachu yeah I know
