  • did you guys know that Bethesda owns the company who made this game? kind of makes me wonder why they didn't have them help with skyrim's combat.... :P

  • the combat looks awesome i'll be checking out the demo on steam :P

  • @artiseLBP Excellent :).

  • Very enjoyable video dude

  • @darkpumperrr Thanks a lot, matey. I'm replaying this game atm and it's still great...

  • i say its still a farcry from the origional might and magics dmomm is basicaly diablo with an elderscrolls combat type system. its still fun but its definately not as good as the origionals.

  • Smooth moves.

  • How open is the world in this game? I see that it's very story oriented, but non-aggressive npcs always give me a twinge of elder scrolls love. Is it level based and linear, or is there at least a little bit of exploration to be done?

  • @Denkyuu Some levels allow for a fair bit of exploration, but it's a far cry from a game like Morrowind/Oblivion. The progression through the levels is linear - no backtracking/hubs. There are few things to do in this game besides engage in action - it's not a questing, NPC-chatting affair.

On the other hand, it has some of the best melee combat - or combat in general - of any game. Ever. The complexity of the combat system makes the 'block, strike, block, block, strike' combat of games...

  • @etherealrhythm... like Oblivion look laughably crude and simple. In that respect, it is worth looking into even if you're not usually a fan of such action-oriented games. And the price must be criminally low by now.

  • @etherealrhythm Yeah, I just can't take my mind off the combat! It looks fantastic! I usually tend toward more open games, but if it's as good as it looks, I might have to give it a try anyway. Thanks!

  • @Denkyuu You won't regret it! And no problem.

  • If you picked the assassin skills all the way through would you be raped in head to head combat?

  • @daikana1 I don't think so - I imagine all the skill paths would be viable choices. The 'levelling' and whatnot is not particularly important in this game, anyway... it's more of an action game than an RPG-type game. What /is/ imporant is fighting smart and trying to use every available tool to your advantage.

  • @etherealrhythm Thanks!

  • @daikana1 No problem.

  • Want to have an XTC pill with that?

  • I didn't know Chuck Norris had a Youtube account...

  • OWNAGE!!!!!!TRIPLE-DELUXE!!!!!!!!!

  • How many times did you play though this level?

  • @zap54312 Too many? Is that an answer? I made the video before the game itself was out, however... so the amount I had to play was limited to the demo.

  • holy shit this is some epic fighting CONGRATZ!

  • @poisonoustea Haha, thanks. And yes, a MASSIVELY underrated game. THE shining example of melee combat done right. Or just... combat... done right.

  • freaking HARDCORE

  • @luukas888 Thanks :).

  • Nice video mate! :D

    You owned them! ;D

  • Jeez, dude, you remind me of Jackie Chan and Jason Bourne all rolled into one. Awesome!

  • Haha :). Nice one.

  • After i watch this game on Youtube , i buyed it today :P at Ebay only 6 Pounds so this was cool offert. etherealrhythm can you tell me how does look multiplayer on this game ? Thanks aLOT .

This game is fuken awsome , and you very good at it .

  • Good on you :). 6 pounds is a great price for this game too.

I can't tell you very much about the multiplayer component unfortunately as I didn't play it all that much. I basically tried it out the once and it wasn't for me, so I never played it again. Although, I was talking to a friend very recently about it and he said it was a lot of fun, so you'll just have to try it out and see :).

Regardless, the single player is fantastic. Hope you enjoy it.

  • OK, Thank you For answer ^^ i wanted play it today !!! but my game still not came :P so i still w8ing.. damn :P

  • Ha ha - wow, that was great!

  • i want to find this game now lolz

  • Nice m8, nice killing blows.. you've got brains.

  • Haha, thanks very much :). Cheers.

  • lol dude ur good at assassin but persolally i like warrior...but nice ownage clip.

  • Thanks :)! Great game, huh?

  • well its pretty ugly (good for its time but still) and i dont like lvl based games.... so i dont think its so good

  • Woeboez, yes the game looked very good for its time. I'm not sure what you mean by "but still". Any game that looks good for "its time" will end up looking ugly after a year or two.

But the game isn't very level based. There are RPG elements but the game doesn't rely on levels. This is really more of an FPS/Action game. I played it using almost no magic and instead used the melee... which is the best of any game I've seen. You should maybe consider it if you like FPS, it's a lot of fun.

  • well i bought it and i liked it pretty much but it was the xbox vers (cuz my pc sucks)

and that costed me 50 euros and thats a bit to much for a game thats 1 or 2 years old u know... so i returned it. if it was like 30 euros i wouldve kept it

  • nice skills

  • haha! best video ever! haha. and the end was the best. just walked around and saw a guy got slammed^^

  • dude that was the bomb. you have too much time on your hands!

  • nice

  • Haha, thanks man. And the 8800GTX does own but this vid was actually rendered of my old x850xt.

  • Dam u are good at this game. and ur graphics card the 8800GTX OWNS.

  • lol thanks for the comments guys. XIII, you should get it! The full game is great.

@ mufaa, yes i did learn the whole level. I had far too much time on my hands and the demo was very short lol.

  • Lol...did you the learn the whole level or what? And how can you kill so fast? Trainer?

  • lol fast as hell, and nice kill where the orc jumped down, just seen the game looks pretty cool. Might get it when it comes out or if it is out now.

  • Nice job. Hopefully that'll teach those orcs to not put spiked boards everywhere, to remember where their traps are, and to not stand at the very edge of a great fall.
