What most people don't realize about Theory11 is that they take really old effects, and then make them look brand new and name them under one of their artists,take Distortion for example,it was originally called Moving Point or Pips and its definitely not created by Wayne Houchin,Dont get me wrong theory11 has some GREAT magicians and their videos always inspire me and are always SUPER cool but i just think theory11 fan boys should open their eyes and see that T-11 isnt the only site out there.
Anyways, I must say that they have SOME good tricks, like chris kenners..But they are fucking it all up by making a dvd of the book totaly out of control. Made me sad to hear that.
I do have to agree. But they said that they were going to add more stuff to the DVD compared to what's in the book. And also we're moving to an age where the youth of magicians are learning better from DVDs than books.
It takes more effort to learn from a book than a DVD. Chances are, those learning from books are actually somewhat serious about their art and are less likely to run around exposing magic secrets. Have you noticed that most of the dumbasses exposing magic on youtube are little kids? Their moms bought them DVDs and when they realized that they don't have the talent to actually perform the effects convincengly, they decided to go exposing them for the views, subs, and attention.
actually i feel like in theory11 they teach you more sleights then magic so to say, dont get me wrong i like theory11 but .........
