the problem is if we don't vote this lot back in we'll be lumbered with the useless incompetent lazy pocket lining freaks that we've just got rid of. damned if do damned if we don't,but i think we have to give Cameron a bit longer to prove himself, he has to clean up the mess the birdbrains that went before made, they left us virtually bankrupt
I am so proud and delighted that Cameron has not been able to sell this hogwash to the British public. We are clearly a great deal smarter that he thought. No one will ever vote for this man again. Big Society is exactly as the acronym suggests BS!
I don't think most landlords are toffs nor are they screwing tenants necessarily. A lot of property is privately owned by families for whom it is their sole residence. I think the notion that the Conservative party is in the hands of toofs is pretty laudable (Osbourne and Cameron had no influence on what their parents did or what school they went to).
Many Conservatives enjoy a healthy income living off the backs of hard working people with their extortionate rents, inflated property values and lavish second homes paid for by the tax payer, We don't need another property owning class dictating terms to us again. Nor do we need to be told that when our employers throw us away because “times are hard” that our accrued entitlement to benefits will be cut forcing us into even low paid work. IF NOTHING ELSE OUR HOME SHOULD BE SAFE AND OUR OWN!
@ej8113 What absolute rubbish! Conservative voters (there are now 10 million of them, more than Labour and the far left combined) are often lower middle class and working class people who work their arses off to provide for their families and to aspire to a better way off life. They pay their taxes, claim few benefits, and have been hammered by New Labour for 13 long years.
@charlesfisher757 I should have qualified that with Conservative Party Members (not voters) and believe me across Britain I've seen enough CONSERVATIVE PARTY MEMBERS to know what I'm talking about - The thankful for the council house to buy option voter of Thatcher generation is in decline, many what you'd call natural Conservatives have left and gone abroad fed up HIGH HOUSE PRICES -
@ej8113 You have to appreciate that the number of Conservative party members is very little - somewhere around 150,000. That means only about 1 in 70 Conservative voters are actually members of the party. Unfortunately, I think that recently the Conservative party leadership has lost its vision and appreciation for the aspiring class. The thing is that there are actually very few toffs and arrogant landlords as you suggest; most Tory members are the middle class voters who can afford a £25 fee.
@charlesfisher757 QED - 70% of the land is owned by 1% of the population, 90% of the people live on less than 10% of the land. 30%: Aristocrats, nearly a third of Britain in the hands of the toffs. 15%: Private landowners, everything from golf courses, stud farms and celebrity new rich land AGAIN: Many Conservative (party members) enjoy a living off the backs of hard working people with their extortionate rents, inflated property values and lavish second homes paid for by the tax payer QED!
@charlesfisher757 It goes without saying you need a lot of less well off people to support a few rich - Many Conservatives (party members) suggests no quantity only a ratio of those who form the total - what I do know is this property prices and poverty made fortunes for a FEW! not the many. Cow to your betters, and tip a hat to the toffs if you wish for they rule by divine right of nobility and class with their duck houses and moats, the only thing worse to me is a Labour MP. SOCIAL MOBILITY!!!
don't your dare talk about families when they are being thrown out on the asses through home repossession, their only crime trying to build a good foundations for family life, retirement and leaving a small legacy to their children. The price for a highly disposable throw away work force that can’t rely on a job for life, yet has to risk all in a tiny window of opportunity SHOULD BE CHEAP AFFORDABLE QUALITY HOUSING - NOT PANDERING TO PROPERTY SPECULATORS BANKS AND LANDLORDS - CLUELESS !!!!
how many people do you need to change a country? All of them... If only every one in every country did just that we'd have a revolution overnight. If only the majority of people woke up and realised we are economic slaves and we are not free. Society is such a mess. We really work for the banks. The economy and monetary system is the problem yet most of us are too busy to realise or care. The fact is nothing will change until the people wake up
My feeling is that Labour didn't inherit a chronice deficit and China allowed goods to be made there dirt cheap so they inherited a good economic situation.
They had a GREAT opportunity to get tough on welfare - a million immigrants, most of whom work, testify to that. They could've got tough on crime too.Alas GB had other ideas and got his way.Shame Blair never sacked him!!
Look what you post here it wont do anything if you dont vote to keep this guy out, VOTE LABOUR OR LIB DEMS...THATS THE ONLY WAY....IF YOU THINK THE COUNTRY IS BAD NOW WAIT TILL YOU VOTE THIS LOT IN....!!!! Same old Tory values same old policies...
@DontVoteTory 'IF YOU THINK THE COUNTRY IS BAD NOW' mate economically britain if fucked - its debt is simply unsustainable. only a really brainwashed labour tool would ever vote for those incompetent fools now.
@AussiePolitics i'm sure all those pensioners, cripples and low paid workers wish they had voted labour now. totally typical of a tory led government the poor have been ass raped yet again why the rich get away scot free.
i live in new zealand so i don't give a shit but i feel sorry for the family i left behind.
this budget will create a lot of victims, in an already rocky retail environment 20% VAT is the final nail in the coffin.
@porty500 this is why i feel sorry for david cameron - he's going to be branded a bastard by all the idiots of the left just because he got left an utterly fucked over economy by labor and surprise surprise he's actually having to cut the budge of OVER SPENDING. the UK is going half a million pounds deeper into debt every minute. you say that cameron is horrible just because he's having to be responsible after a decade of labor overspending ruining the economy.
@AussiePolitics i don't vote labour mate. i'm no lefty but this isn't responsibility this is picking on those who can't fight back.
remove the troops from afghanistan, saving £40m+ per day and invest it in UK based manufacturing, cutting taxes and VAT stimulating a high street revival, introduce a points based immigration policy including EU nationals.
the afghan/iraq wars are the main root cause of the debt. remember britain only paid off its 1982 falklands debt less than a decade ago!
Labour's contempt even for their own voters runs right the way through.
Do you think Labour peoples' communist pasts, paedo tendencies or treason were bad enough? You take a look at the Reds' bashing of Christianity, cashing in on still-legal drugs and plotting with the Libs to stay in power even if the Tories win!
Even other Lefties hate them for their warmongering!
Click my username to view NEW LABOUR'S TOTALITARIAN ANTI-CHRIST DRUG DEALERS DESERVE AT LEAST POLL DEATH!
@winty52 Yes it wont be long now and David will be in charge. As a business man It makes me smile to think I will be so much better off. It's great to know ordinary people help us to prosper at their own expense.
These people saying vote Clegg are just as vacuous as the man himself.
They didn't know him three weeks ago. He spent the first debate saying "I'm not either of them" (Nick, love, it wore very thing last night..you need to say something else)
He is sanctimonious and vacuous and his policies on the EURO and ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS is straight out of nana's change purse...LUNACY!!
Don't vote liberal or Labour a vote for any other party is a vote for the Conservatives. I am getting my Hunting clothes out ready for the cleaners so i can go Fox Hunting again.
David has promised to bring this sport back to us. My son will save a fortune when I die because David has promised to scrap that for us millionaires. I won't have to pay the higher tax rate either. It's good to see he will be stopping Tax Credits to pay for this.
I love droping in on you Tory suporters you all make me smile...Is there any chance you wont vote TORY?...Just once....Now come on your going to vote Labour arnt you! Im sorry if theres any spelling mistakes its because im working class I really do apologize for any inconvenience...VOTE FOR ANYONE BUT CONSERVATIVE...
@steps1 okay but how can you be sure though that they are not influence with their right to vote? they are independent polsters but remember they are also voters. It's very interesting though.
Our once prestigious Foreign Office is weed-infested and in dire need of restoration.
It has become, under Labour, yet another ministry with an offensive culture of smug arrogance, wasting our taxes, and wrecking our international reputation.
Last time Tory were in power: Child poverty tripled Millions lost their Jobs Millions lost their houses Homophobic laws were introduced Public companies were sold off They slashed spending on the public sector Pensions were cut Child benifit was cut by 21% Income tax on the wealthiest was cut by 40% Millions of homes were reposessed. Don't talk to us about change. We want a peopes party, we don't want you.
@fangaas how many Mp's from that time are still there? So the party is now a completely different one? Conservitives don't show their true colors until they are in power but why risk it?
@jukcoder ha ha ha that's funny "David Camerowrong and that asian chick decoy" by the way cameron strongly disregard Non-EU immigration. i will tell my dad to start packing now with his semi-conductor microchips. Cameron wants to create bigger friendly society??? i think british working class should vote for labour.
Why should they vote Labour? So Brown can call them a BIGOT too..so they can watch the gap between the rich and the poor get WIDER..as it has done after 13 years of a Labour Government?
Labour as the party of the working class? If it wasn't so tragic, it would be funny
@HexDragon conservatives do more good than bad, look what labour have done. Conservatives when thatcher was in power made this country powerful again, made it rich, we were one of the top 5 economies in the world. Nick clegg wants to give all our money away to immigrants and legalize the illegal immigrants who have come to this country. Nick cleggs policies are dangerous. you have to be stupid to vote for him.
@dubmywub None of what you said about Clegg was backed by evidence and was vague rubbish and save your breath I'm not replying for your benifit, that's a waste of my time, I could be speaking to educated people, I reply to highlight your response as a typical symptom of politica knowledge being purely derived from the newspaper.
Reality check drive through the country see the Tory blue posters dotted with yellow libs ones on their little Borgoise mansions, drive the town suburbs see the yellow and red posters dotted around.. Drive to the towns and cities and see the red posters dotted with yellow.. Ask yourself is the really no such thing as a class struggle? Is it really true that the Tory's represent the poor as well as the rich? Keep talking Dave.
There are plenty of working class Tories..people who see Labour for what they are..people who don't want to remain poor..people who want to achieve and aspire and not be told they can't
But let's go with your premise for one minute that the Tories are for the Rich..well what the frick is Labour's excuse then seeing as they are apparently the party of the Poor? The gap between rich and poor is WIDER..how the hell can anyone vote Labour?
@steps1 So again why aren't there plenty of Conservative posters on "working class" and town centre homes? Are you hoping if you say it enough times people will turn colour blind? Sure there's a few on Billboards they have paid for, hardly think that counts. Don't think it will be long before they are torn down or vandalised to be honest. "You can't airbrush your policies David" quality line didn't realise Brown had a sense of humour.
@steps1 is that how you handle a question you have no answer for... oh dear.. I suppose people display posters of parties they are not going to vote.. Bit more reliable than the Sun opinion poll lol.
@steps1 do you know Gordon Brown personally?how on earth are you personally in a position to judge his personality other than by reading comics like the Daily Mail?I don't have a Sky Subscription because I don't rate the quality of programmes and feel that it is poor value for money..down with SKY up the BBC!!!! world class prgrammes at a fraction of the cost...I love Australians but the best place for RUpert Murdoch is the belly of a Great White Shark!!!!!
@cheyaura here here! my real worry is that apathy and ignorance will allow the bad old days to return
My grandfather was an Engineer and Manager down the pit.
He worked under the ground prenationalisation and it was a fact that the coal mines were nationalised TO INCREASE PRODUCTION and another benefit apart from MASSIVELY INCREASED OUTPUT was a radically improved health and safety record...check your history Thatchers children!!!!!!!!
I'm a 33 year old worker and i'm voting conservative for the first time, I,ve changed my vote because of the Rise in NI under labour. It will cost jobs and kill a recovery. If worker pay more intax they spend less, that will cost jobs across the country.
@tomlestrange Anyone who thinks the solution to the problems we face in society and globally can be solved by buying junk we don't need is really a lost cause. You belong with the tory's mate welcome to the human livestock management program. Please proceed to your next shopping experience. Express yourself with a variety of mass produced nik-naks and trinkets as seen advertised by your favourite celebrity. Sell your gold and buy our plastic!
@steps1 is this similar to THE SCARE that the National Minimum Wage would result in thousands of redundancys?why don't we bring back chimney sweeps while we are at it!
We all saw what happened last night in the debate..Cameron nailed Brown over the LIES he had been telling...Brown said he had not authorised it..oh dear..he should take a look at his own leaflet (I believe the only Labour one to have his picture on it although even that was never certain) as it repeats the same lies
@steps1 Historically it was probably due to union strong hold calling the shots over labour.? Whereas the conservatives have the strength to stand up to unions and defeat them, which I reckon is what causes all the pathological hatred millitant labour supporters have for the conservatives. This is in addition to labour being wasteful and inefficient generally of course.
I'll take unions calling the shots over labour rather than corporations calling the shots over the conservatives any day of the week. Unions are the most democratic institutions in this country and the only way that people can have the same degree of power as corporations. You talk about how they drove business away.. The reality is the ownership class didn't want to share profits more fairly so they went to countries that would let them exploit workers.
the headlines about Clegg are very embarrassing..millionaire businessmen paying directly into his account before he came leader..oh dear! Given the fact that Clegg trousered more in expenses than the other two leaders and now this, it's a joke that people think he equals Change..he's worse than the lot of them!
@steps1 "There is nothing positive about the conservative election strategy" Nick Clegg... I don't know where you are getting your info from but most polls including interntional media gurus such as reuters have Labour with the majority of seats and are claiming Cameron's only chance is to attack Clegg and win over his voters which is highly unlikely since Clegg actually has policies which make sense.
what like the Euro? more power to Europe?More immigration? Illegal immigrants being allowed to stay? A 17 billion tax cut even though we've got no money
@steps1 Lol 6 billion cut from services or cut out our horrific war and Nuclear initimadtion weapons? The conservatives want to raid the fridge to block pave the patio! Clegg is right the other paties are ignoring the problem of the illegal immigrants that are here already.. You cut out the source which is the organised crime that help them sneak in and get the working ilegally. Ignoring this problem will not make it go away.
I heard all that tripe from Clegg..no need to repeat it. Clegg looked very shakey on Immigration, on Trident..what are the 'alternatives'? they won't talk about them..it will be more expensive to replace the warheads. He did well but just not as well as Cameron last night.
@steps1 Not sure how labour are responsible for the city and the banks being completely reckless and taking themselves to the wall with toxic debt, CDS, hedge fund lock in's, overleverage etc etc.. Try this for an idea how about corporations taking less profit so people can work less hours for the same pay and then we can create more jobs across every sector? Na you'd rather keep the profit and moan about unemployment... Besides a scarcity of jobs keeps wages down for ya!
Wait..Brown stood by and did nothing..he was loving it..loving what the Banks were bringing in..encouraging the public to borrow, borrow and borrow even though we couldn't afford it..why is our public debt so horrifically high in this country?
Brown boasted he had ended boom and bust..we ended with biggest bust this country has ever seen.
Education: We no longer have potato picking and so do not need the current School terms. Lets get life back into our Communities with Community based Education every day of the year rather than artifically limited to school term times which are out-dated.
to add, theres no talk about immigration this time around in election time because the damage is done and those they let in are now voters and they want their votes now. That's what? another 3 million extra votes available ? and is a newcomer going to vote against a party thats not for immigration ? not likely !
stop treating the people of this country like idiots and lets get some new stock in government who do the right things for the people
re: this video. Homelessness ? Try building HOMES
how many people does it take to change a country ?
strange question when the top 0.1% make the rules and laws for the rest of us and we have no say it what they demand we do
In THIS country its not the amount of people that make the slightest difference it's the phoney, inept and tyranical government politians that are keeping us on our knees
@sweetypie000 Its the safe seats that keep these same politicians in power >>> If the majority of electorate actually knew politics, and read policies, maybe we would get somewhere in our democracy...
It sounds as though you have sussed the media out! Not many people have, they believe what they read and hear on the TV. I'm sure you realise the media runs the country! They say do something and politicians jump and break a leg to do it. The Sun newspaper won the last two elections but have now changed to us Conservatives. I'm not saying why but I bet they win the election for the Conservatives.
@SuperToryboy the propoganda power of the mass media has been reduced significantly by the rise of internet sites like this one. People are getting information from much wider and more independant resources. You have a point but I don't think conservatives will get enough votes I am inclined to believe the Lib dems will do significantly better than they will given the structure of constituencies. It's clear that despite our differing views you think critically so I respect your position.
@ucokcouk The media - especially the tabloids - still have way more power than than websites (which many themselves have a political agenda) . The vast majority of the electorate still get their views and information from these sources. Im inclined towards the liberal democrats, but theres no chance in hell that in this election they will get more seats than the tories.
@ANaturalSwagger I was inclined to agree with you until recently but I think Cameron's vote for change approach has really filtered a lot of their campaign efforts to the Lib Dem cause. He's really overcooked it in my opinion. Part of me agrees with you about the mainstream media but on the other hand all I hear from people on the street is "you can't believe anyhting in the papers these days" ok it's not very statistical but I certainly think times are changing on that front.
The Conservatives would not have allowed the planes to stop flying. I am sure you heard the Shadow Transport Minister this morning on Breakfast Television. They should have continued and the public would not have been inconvenienced under the Conservatives. You know who to vote for.
@SuperToryboy ha ha so labour is a Nanny authortarian state but the Tories would have told airline safety experts how to do their job. At least we can see what SuperToryism is all about now. Do as you are told not so much a nanny more of a slave driver with a whip.
With the savings we could make by making the cuts mentioned before we could abolish Inheritance Tax, reduce the tax rate for higher earners and then bring back our wonderful sport of Hunting Foxes and Deer and reduce the health hazzards they cause. We could keep our economy going so that we could all prosper if you are prepared to work. You know who to vote for!
@SuperToryboy inheritance tax effects very few people, fox hunting is a massive waste of time and money, tax rate for higher earners should be tripled.
When the revolution comes you know what happens to people like you ;)
@SuperToryboy I've got a better idea instead of fox hunting lets bring in Peasant hunting or better still lets just bring back slavery. Or lets have a non-inheritance tax were people who don't get an inheritance over the threshold have to pay the income tax of a random wealthy person or we take their children and sell them to the Russian mafia to be sex slaves we could have a lottery for it.
@ucokcouk I suppose the simple way to describe the parties are as follows: Labour Party- Robin Hood. Conservative Party- Sheriff of Nottingham. Liberals-The Village Peasants who Robin Hood helps and Supports!!!!!!!!!!!
The Conservatives believe in voluntary work. If you all work together free then this would save the country a fortune. If you do have to take paid work then the Minimum Wage should be abolished and we Conservatives are all for this because it cost business a fortune and hits the profits. Tax Credits for low paid workers should go along with the Child Trust Fund worth £250.00 for new babies.
Tax Credits for Pensioners should go and Child Tax Credits.
Rejecting David Cameron for having had a privileged education at Eton is really absurd. I'm GLAD he had a great education, paid for by his father who happened to be able to afford the best for his son. What are you saying - that people who went to the best schools in England must be excluded from politics? That's just the politics of envy. It makes no sense whatever. Get over yourself, cheyaura.
The Tories 'broke' Britain in the 80's. Thatcher said 'there's no such things as society.' She wrecked communities and left them without jobs, dignity or hope. Greed was OK, sod everyone else. Is this oleaginous Eton Trifle, Thatcher's heir, going to lead us out of the Thatcherite mire? Can we solve a problem the same way it was created. Brown didn't break Britain, the Tories did, and it's going to take more than 13 years to turn that round.
@lee2749 indeed it takes a lot longer to build the country back that it takes to dismantle and flog it off... By reckoning it takes 4 years of a labour government to rebuild every year of damage by the conservatives. We are going to need at least another 25 years to repair Thatchers damage. Then if you ask me we should be thinking about letting the Libs take the reigns.. All these guys will do is what has happened in america they will go after peoples homes.
For the countries sake Dave forget your nerves be more Forceful. Dynamic in your delivery I want to see passion and conviction if this country is going to the dogs I do not want it to happen with you trying to act Presidential on the TV.
All is not lost but we are so close to the abyss!!
Surely the answer to many of Britain problems is respect. How can anyone have respect for an open access country which is here for all and sundry to enter regardless of a lack of things to offer. So many people spit and urinate in the street because they have no respect for a Britain which is no longer a country. For we are just international territory now. David Cameron, you MUST secure the borders to the inflooding of people that has heightened racial tension, crime and lack of respect.
@ElectionMedia I'm all for a world without borders to be honest with you.. I just ain't buying handing over sovereignty to a corporate oligarchy in the process. People are people my friend at lot of the people that come to Britain because they have a lot of respect for the country. We should be able to tighten immigration when it threatens the economy unemployment etc that is sensible in my opinion but not because of some nationalistic notion of preserving our race or whatever not for me.
"Call me David" Cameron is just another Tony Blair clone, more interested in his own self image and slating his oponents than the real issues. He would be living the high life and jet setting around with his celebrity friends just like Blair did, when he should have been sorting out the mess he made of this country. Contrived hand gestures and smiles - check!
I would like to know how this country can carry on spending £1,900,000,000 a day, and borrowing £443,000,000 of that with only a 1% cut proposed. I haven't heard an answer yet, but Mr Cameron is offering a small start.
I was worried that the tories would damage this country. Then I saw the tv debate. David Cameron said that he had just met a 40 year old man who had served in the army for 30 years. Thats when I realised he is just the man to save our fragile economy. Also that Etons maths teacher may need replacing
@jamesytaylor1 too right and this is why they will lose. They think selfishness and greed are admirable qualities and call those people ambitious and succesful. Whilst the decent majority of this country know how to balance their desires with consideration for others. I'm not surprised they don't want to talk about class they haven't a clue what real class is.
@cheyaura The decent majority in this country are CONSERVATIVE VOTERS. They are going to win this election because this country is essentially CONSERVATIVE in its principles - more people voted Tory in England in 2005. Your talk of greed in others is purely manipulative - it isn't fact, just your twisted view of people you have chosen to hate. Well TOUGH, your attempt to manipulate is glaringly obviousn and your constant degradation of others probably belies these poor qualities in yourself.
@Arrlandi10 ha ha ha and you are not trying to manipulate people? "CONSERVATIVE" "everyone is conservative the majority are conservative".. I'm not surprised you like Cameron you have so much in common. You are so dishonest you even believe your own lies. See I can take the same approach as you but really we all know why you wish to degrade the debate to this level. It is so glaringly obvious I don't even need to say it.
@cheyaura I was stating a fact, something you should try occasionally to back up your dumb theories....its no wonder you don't back up your rhetoric and lies with facts seeing as your comments spring from your own imagination rather than reality. Like I say, it is fact that Tories polled more votes in 2005 than any other party in England - thats no lie you idiot.
@Arrlandi10 lol even when I point out how ridiculous your tactics are you just carry on with it. Ok try this on for size everything I say is a fact and everything you say is complete nonsense unless you agree with me and therefore I am entitled to hurl abusive comments at you. Please continue you are doing my cause a lot of good keep showing people what Conservative voters are all about I dare you.
@cheyaura You spout utter unadulterated manipulative rubbish. And don't ever be so arrogant as to expect what you point out will make the slightest difference to any comment I may chose to make, you nasty piece of work.
@cheyaura And all you're about at the end of the day is envy and jealousy of others' wealth and privilege which makes you full of irrational hatred for those who have more than you. "Prescott" syndrome - fighting against wealth, privilege and power entire life, but accepting it gladly when it's put your way...breath-taking hypocrisy from labour.
@Arrlandi10 Badly wrong I am against the entire system of materialism I wouldn't want all that wealth it would make me feel sick with guild to have so much when people were starving. I've been in that world and seen them laughing around the board tables as they cut deals that would make them a little richer and the poor a little poorer and it made me sick. Their words when I left "what carrot can we dangle in front of you to make you stay" If that isn't capitalism in a nutshell what is?
very good video about how labor has invested on 3rd sector, if you can remember MT would not allow people on benefit to do voluntary work as they were supposed to be looking for work. Labour reverse those, I meant we on the policy front.
@dormantAssassin I don't like the Tories, but they're not racist, times have changed with political parties doing things like that, unless they're on the far-right
@Cena60793agreed...and racism exists amongst the supporters of other parties not just the BNP historically Oswold Mosley wasa Labour MP and the Tories had Enoch Powell and Margaret Thatcher shamelessly exploited the race card by making an alarmist speech before her first term in office...granted she had Jewish people in her cabinet but she more than probably benefitted from a few Alf Garnett types
@Cena60793 I am NOT suggesting she was a member of the KKK but she did make a comment about being "swamped" by ethnic minorities on a "World in Action"on 30th January 1978 just before the elelction.
You are right he was first a Conservative but later joined the Labour Party before forming the British Union of Fascists
I believe most people are easy going and NOT racist but there is a substantial minority who ARE racist and of ALL ethnicities
@UKCallum1 I have got plenty more to say I could have a partial lobotomy and still outsmart you you imbecile
I suggest you have a good look at the John Pilger site and read up on how it was decided that the United States would capitalise on Koreas resources during the second world war
@Garvain66.. im an inbecile because i care about this countries future? you are seriously deluded.. dont think that because im young i cant put my point across to small minded people such as yourself.. to understand the threat of nuclear weapons you have to add up the possibilities.. by the sounds of it you cant handle that so you resort to calling me an inbecile. well done you pathetic left wing low life.. if the UK was full of people like you we would not have a defense at all..
@UKCallum1 You can always tell a Tory wind their little tails up and watch they just can't hold back their unter contempt and revulsion for the real people of the nation. Unfortunately we are the core of this nation and you better get used to it. Even if you win your plans won't last they will come for Cameron's neck just like they did for Maggie. You guys should move on find another island to plunder your good at that.
@ucokcouk with respect i dont care about any of their policies they are all as bad as each other and actually i havent said i am a conservative or labour.. i commented saying lib dems plan to scrap trident would be unwise, which it is and if you think we should agree with it then you dont understand the power that just having a nuclear weapon gives you.. its more protection than offensive, if Iran launched a nuke at us,
Iran will only strike if the neo-con and democrat war machine of the UN push Iran to far. If that happens trident is useless it's game over. watch the UN and Hilary Clinton news articles to gauge how close we are
@ucokcouk we couldnt hit back because we scrapped all of ours.. i hope you can see the point i am trying to make, i just want whats best for the country.. if you want me to elaborate on my point then ok
@UKCallum1 I don't think you are an imbecile because you care about this countries future I think you should read more history and work on your intellectual powers of reasoning people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones and in an evolutionary sense I may be left wing(ok I care about others and don't play with myself when I watch war films) but I am none the worse for it
why cant we not have a system where by a few people or so are up for elections from each party so we get to choose the leader too eg 3 people or so would stand for this party and 3 for labor etc ??
We've got big problems in this country, and one of those problems are politicians.

Let's place some bets.
First major riot after Cameron elected?
2012?

Many Conservatives enjoy a healthy income living off the backs of hard working people with their extortionate rents, inflated property values and lavish second homes paid for by the tax payer, We don't need another property owning class dictating terms to us again. Nor do we need to be told that when our employers throw us away because “times are hard” that our accrued entitlement to benefits will be cut forcing us into even low paid work. IF NOTHING ELSE OUR HOME SHOULD BE SAFE AND OUR OWN!
ej8113 1 year ago
@ej8113 What absolute rubbish! Conservative voters (there are now 10 million of them, more than Labour and the far left combined) are often lower middle class and working class people who work their arses off to provide for their families and to aspire to a better way off life. They pay their taxes, claim few benefits, and have been hammered by New Labour for 13 long years.
charlesfisher757 1 year ago
@charlesfisher757 I should have qualified that with Conservative Party Members (not voters) and believe me across Britain I've seen enough CONSERVATIVE PARTY MEMBERS to know what I'm talking about - The thankful for the council house to buy option voter of Thatcher generation is in decline, many what you'd call natural Conservatives have left and gone abroad fed up HIGH HOUSE PRICES -
ej8113 1 year ago
@ej8113 You have to appreciate that the number of Conservative party members is very little - somewhere around 150,000. That means only about 1 in 70 Conservative voters are actually members of the party. Unfortunately, I think that recently the Conservative party leadership has lost its vision and appreciation for the aspiring class. The thing is that there are actually very few toffs and arrogant landlords as you suggest; most Tory members are the middle class voters who can afford a £25 fee.
charlesfisher757 1 year ago
@charlesfisher757 QED - 70% of the land is owned by 1% of the population, 90% of the people live on less than 10% of the land. 30%: Aristocrats, nearly a third of Britain in the hands of the toffs. 15%: Private landowners, everything from golf courses, stud farms and celebrity new rich land AGAIN: Many Conservative (party members) enjoy a living off the backs of hard working people with their extortionate rents, inflated property values and lavish second homes paid for by the tax payer QED!
ej8113 1 year ago
@charlesfisher757 It goes without saying you need a lot of less well off people to support a few rich - Many Conservatives (party members) suggests no quantity only a ratio of those who form the total - what I do know is this property prices and poverty made fortunes for a FEW! not the many. Cow to your betters, and tip a hat to the toffs if you wish for they rule by divine right of nobility and class with their duck houses and moats, the only thing worse to me is a Labour MP. SOCIAL MOBILITY!!!
ej8113 1 year ago
don't your dare talk about families when they are being thrown out on the asses through home repossession, their only crime trying to build a good foundations for family life, retirement and leaving a small legacy to their children.

Is it really true that the Tory's represent the poor as well as the rich? Keep talking Dave.
cheyaura 1 year ago
@cheyaura
The gap between rich and poor is WIDER..how the hell can anyone vote Labour?
steps1 1 year ago
@steps1 So again why aren't there plenty of Conservative posters on "working class" and town centre homes? Are you hoping if you say it enough times people will turn colour blind? Sure there's a few on Billboards they have paid for, hardly think that counts. Don't think it will be long before they are torn down or vandalised to be honest. Just an open question, why the hell are we always skint and on our knees when at the end of a Labour Government? 1935..1951..1979..2010..it's unreal.
And another one..
Why with every single LABOUR Government since 1935 is UNEMPLOYMENT always HIGHER when they leave office than when they came in? A terrifying fact.
Unemployment = 2.5 million (would be 3 Million but for the artificial jobs the Government created)
steps1 1 year ago
@steps1 Historically it was probably due to union strong hold calling the shots over labour.? Whereas the conservatives have the strength to stand up to unions and defeat them, which I reckon is what causes all the pathological hatred millitant labour supporters have for the conservatives. This is in addition to labour being wasteful and inefficient generally of course.
Arrlandi10 1 year ago
I'll take unions calling the shots over labour rather than corporations calling the shots over the conservatives any day of the week. Unions are the most democratic institutions in this country and the only way that people can have the same degree of power as corporations. You talk about how they drove business away.. The reality is the ownership class didn't want to share profits more fairly so they went to countries that would let them exploit workers.

I'm not saying why but I bet they win the election for the Conservatives.
SuperToryboy 1 year ago
@SuperToryboy the propoganda power of the mass media has been reduced significantly by the rise of internet sites like this one. People are getting information from much wider and more independant resources. You have a point but I don't think conservatives will get enough votes I am inclined to believe the Lib dems will do significantly better than they will given the structure of constituencies. It's clear that despite our differing views you think critically so I respect your position.

@ucokcouk The media - especially the tabloids - still have way more power than than websites (which many themselves have a political agenda) .

This is a shameful attempt to hide individualist and Thatcherite policies.
jamesytaylor1 1 year ago
@jamesytaylor1 too right and this is why they will lose. They think selfishness and greed are admirable qualities and call those people ambitious and succesful. Whilst the decent majority of this country know how to balance their desires with consideration for others. I'm not surprised they don't want to talk about class they haven't a clue what real class is.
cheyaura 1 year ago
@cheyaura The decent majority in this country are CONSERVATIVE VOTERS. They are going to win this election because this country is essentially CONSERVATIVE in its principles - more people voted Tory in England in 2005. Your talk of greed in others is purely manipulative - it isn't fact, just your twisted view of people you have chosen to hate. Well TOUGH, your attempt to manipulate is glaringly obviousn and your constant degradation of others probably belies these poor qualities in yourself.
Arrlandi10 1 year ago
@Arrlandi10 ha ha ha and you are not trying to manipulate people? "CONSERVATIVE" "everyone is conservative the majority are conservative".. I'm not surprised you like Cameron you have so much in common. You are so dishonest you even believe your own lies. See I can take the same approach as you but really we all know why you wish to degrade the debate to this level. It is so glaringly obvious I don't even need to say it.
cheyaura 1 year ago
@cheyaura I was stating a fact, something you should try occasionally to back up your dumb theories....its no wonder you don't back up your rhetoric and lies with facts seeing as your comments spring from your own imagination rather than reality. Like I say, it is fact that Tories polled more votes in 2005 than any other party in England - thats no lie you idiot.
Arrlandi10 1 year ago
@Arrlandi10 lol even when I point out how ridiculous your tactics are you just carry on with it. Ok try this on for size everything I say is a fact and everything you say is complete nonsense unless you agree with me and therefore I am entitled to hurl abusive comments at you. Please continue you are doing my cause a lot of good keep showing people what Conservative voters are all about I dare you.

@cheyaura
sorry are you talking about the Labour candidate who said the elderly were "coffin dodgers"?
steps1 1 year ago
@steps1 lol ok fair enough there's always room for cheap shots.
cheyaura 1 year ago
@cheyaura You spout utter unadulterated manipulative rubbish. And don't ever be so arrogant as to expect what you point out will make the slightest difference to any comment I may chose to make, you nasty piece of work.
Arrlandi10 1 year ago
@cheyaura And all you're about at the end of the day is envy and jealousy of others' wealth and privilege which makes you full of irrational hatred for those who have more than you. "Prescott" syndrome - fighting against wealth, privilege and power entire life, but accepting it gladly when it's put your way...breath-taking hypocrisy from labour.
Arrlandi10 1 year ago
@Arrlandi10 Badly wrong I am against the entire system of materialism I wouldn't want all that wealth it would make me feel sick with guild to have so much when people were starving. I've been in that world and seen them laughing around the board tables as they cut deals that would make them a little richer and the poor a little poorer and it made me sick. Their words when I left "what carrot can we dangle in front of you to make you stay" If that isn't capitalism in a nutshell what is?
cheyaura 1 year ago
@jamesytaylor1 No its not. Not at all. Why do you say such a dumb thing?? Complete fabrication.
Arrlandi10 1 year ago
very good video about how labor has invested on 3rd sector, if you can remember MT would not allow people on benefit to do voluntary work as they were supposed to be looking for work. Labour reverse those, I meant we on the policy front.

The Tories would leave those most affected by the recession to fend for themselves while looking after the rich
These guys are Thatcher's children, no different!!
Cena60793 1 year ago
@dormantAssassin I don't like the Tories, but they're not racist, times have changed with political parties doing things like that, unless they're on the far-right
Cena60793 1 year ago
@Cena60793 The Tories are on the far right. They are currently pretending not to be becase they need people to vote for them.
Oceanus57 1 year ago
@Cena60793agreed...and racism exists amongst the supporters of other parties not just the BNP historically Oswold Mosley wasa Labour MP and the Tories had Enoch Powell and Margaret Thatcher shamelessly exploited the race card by making an alarmist speech before her first term in office...granted she had Jewish people in her cabinet but she more than probably benefitted from a few Alf Garnett types
Garvain66 1 year ago
@Garvain66 hang on Oswald Mosely was a Tory
And Margaret Thatcher wasn't really a racist, her immigration policies stuck up for ethnic minorities
And didn't Michael Howard make a slightly race-based speech which lost him votes in 2005
Cena60793 1 year ago

Garvain66 1 year ago
@Garvain66.. im an inbecile because i care about this countries future? you are seriously deluded.. dont think that because im young i cant put my point across to small minded people such as yourself.. to understand the threat of nuclear weapons you have to add up the possibilities.. by the sounds of it you cant handle that so you resort to calling me an inbecile. well done you pathetic left wing low life.. if the UK was full of people like you we would not have a defense at all..
UKCallum1 1 year ago
@UKCallum1 You can always tell a Tory wind their little tails up and watch they just can't hold back their unter contempt and revulsion for the real people of the nation. Unfortunately we are the core of this nation and you better get used to it. Even if you win your plans won't last they will come for Cameron's neck just like they did for Maggie. You guys should move on find another island to plunder your good at that.
ucokcouk 1 year ago
@ucokcouk with respect i dont care about any of their policies they are all as bad as each other and actually i havent said i am a conservative or labour.. i commented saying lib dems plan to scrap trident would be unwise, which it is and if you think we should agree with it then you dont understand the power that just having a nuclear weapon gives you.. its more protection than offensive, if Iran launched a nuke at us,
UKCallum1 1 year ago
@UKCallum1
Iran will only strike if the neo-con and democrat war machine of the UN push Iran to far. If that happens trident is useless it's game over. watch the UN and Hilary Clinton news articles to gauge how close we are
shelloiluk 1 year ago
@shelloiluk. im talking about what if situations really. hopefully war will never break out but we need to be prepared incase it does happen
UKCallum1 1 year ago
@ucokcouk we couldnt hit back because we scrapped all of ours.. i hope you can see the point i am trying to make, i just want whats best for the country.. if you want me to elaborate on my point then ok
UKCallum1 1 year ago
@UKCallum1 I don't think you are an imbecile because you care about this countries future I think you should read more history and work on your intellectual powers of reasoning people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones and in an evolutionary sense I may be left wing(ok I care about others and don't play with myself when I watch war films) but I am none the worse for it

@Cena60793 Tories are a centre right party. Their current manifesto proves this. Have you read it at all?

@Arrlandi10 that's what I said
Cena60793 1 year ago
why cant we not have a system where by a few people or so are up for elections from each party so we get to choose the leader too eg 3 people or so would stand for this party and 3 for labor etc ??
