It's about time they release something like this, it's just too bad that many people don't believe that their surroundings and their food are plastered with chemicals. Unfortunately organizations like this are backed by large companies like Whole Foods that are somewhat less than whole. Get the facts strait, grow your own food, organically. This video is amazing and inspiring. I am only a teen and I am really into going green, I want to eat all natural, and I wish I was born in the 1800s or 1900s because the world today is falling apart. We live and breath chemicals, it's in our food, everywhere. Back then people were a lot nicer and respectable, but most importantly, things were healtheir for the enviroment, and humans.

my only problem with this is the explicit mention of chemicals in breastmilk while leaving out formula, there as many, if not more chemicals in formula! People need to know this as well so they aren't afraid to breastfeed their babies!!!!

At 1:32 the chemical listed is psilocybin -- magic mushrooms! A friend pointed that out to me and she is right. I can't think of one household product that contains magic mushrooms and to be honest, they have a low toxicity anyway. Excellent video, other than the breast milk slander, which I think was unintentional (it's just an appalling fact that these chemicals are being found in breast milk - which means that we need to clean up our home environment!) - breast milk is STILL best.

The wording in this video claims it is breastmilk that gives babies toxins- some could interpret this as a preference for formula, which is even worse for babies in terms of compatibility to nature.

Breastmilk gives natural immunity beyond what formula ever could. This unfortunate wording is giving a subliminal message and the story is so much more complex than that. As a human milk for human babies advocate, the language of our world has to be encouraging, rather than limiting.

As a father of 3 boys, and as a specialist in Environmental Medicine, this hit home and pretty deeply.

Seeing countless patients with conditions caused by environmental contaminants is horrific; however, the beauty is we are all making positive small changes each day.

We can also remove most of these corporate chemicals from our bodies using proper lifestyle, dietary and nutritional therapies.

Great video- I do believe that companies are taking these issues seriously because of the power of word of mouth they have to for good and bad. I am a brestfeeding mother (my baby is 20 m.o.) and like many I know that even if the statement in the video is true (at least in most "civilized" places) it's ALWAYS better to breastfeed than formula feed when possible. It's well known that formula is not the best thing, but it's the easiest alternative as still too many women today are not supported in the knowledge, psycology and reality of breastfeeding. There's a deep need of education on the subject, starting from school i might add.

There is more than black and white. New diseases are discovered as our ability to find them increases. Cancer rates - on the whole, corrected for life expectancy, do not show the concerning increase that you imply, though it is good to try control environmental influences.

Fortunately, not 'everyone' shares your view of biology. The functional units (semi-permeable membranes in the glomerulus of the kidney, hepatic plates in the liver,etc) of the organs are essentially the same size in children as adults. Not too much different in pets. There are differences in levels of specific enzyme function, to be sure, but nothing like what you're suggesting.
