  • she is wonderful... i adore her

  • She has no vertical arm drive

  • Damn she is freaking angelic fine

  • I used to do gymnastics, and moved to athletics last year thanks to an injury. Thanks to my experience I find the kick out at the end no problem, but I just can't get enough height. I'm 13 and I jump about 5m, but the English Schools distance is 5.05 and I just can't quite get that extra 5m, please help!

  • Hitch Kick

  • Heh heh ... I did this and freaked out and i got flappy legs :) silly me i can't flap my legs and fly xD

  • Quite impressive.

  • Does she do the voice for lara craft for the game tomb raider?!

  • im in first year and can jump 3m

  • i dnt use any technique and i do jump 5.6m :D

  • I like how she slaps her butt before she starts

  • Lol you forgot to put in not to fall backwards!!!

  • When I has 13 I did 4.6m i think it is decent since i have any kind of training for long jump

  • can someone help me, she says the fisrt thing the warm up?

  • I'm going to tell you the secret : for long jump, you jump.

  • Thanks for uploading this! I have competition for long jump tomorrow. Good Luck for me!

  • hehee nice im in year 6 and i jump 4.65 M is that a good jump and my hight is 1.52 m

  • My best jump is 13 feet 2 inches, I'm a junior varsity jumper for my high school team... And I'm looking to improve my technique, because I constantly feel sloppy when training with my fellow jumpers. Thanks for the tips!

  • my best is 3.63 and im 10, not a very good landing in this

  • I'm 15, and is 5.37 a good jump?

  • @xSzRedemptiion yeah...it´s good...but i´m 13 and i got 5.61

  • i think my lift off is bad. i just run at it and try and jump as far as i can :/ trying to improve! annoying when i lose by like 2cms... i jump 6.09 right now and i think my landing is off as well >< thanks for the vid! hurray for my 5 dollar spikes i got at the sunday market!

  • I heard there is some 21 year old guy in Canada who is jumping 7.90 already... I think his name is S.Collette or something..

  • i hope this will be me someday

  • she looks like christie from tekken

  • Im in grade 7 and i jumped 4:35

  • Sports day on Friday. I'm 13 and have a personal best of 5.30m however I am worried about competition. Do I have a good jump and how do you measure your run up?

  • best part of video 0:16 seconds loolz

  • Try hard.

  • if you land on your butt but don't put your hands down, do they take the distance to where your feet were or butt?

  • @Aledorabley your nearest print on the sand will be measured.. so in that case the part where your butt landed will be measured.

  • @Aledorabley they measure your mark that is closest to the board. so if you land on your feet, then fall backwards into the pit, they will take the mark where you fell that is closest to the board.

  • 4m is ok for 6th grade but that is 12 feet And I'm in in 5th and I do 12 foot 3 in but I'm just beast so you do fine.

  • I can jump 4m and I am in grade 6. Is that good?

  • @bitch777786 Im in grade 7 and last year I jumped 3.99 and a girl at my school she jumped 4.34 in grade 6

  • I love the ass slap / finger stretch routine at the beginning of the run-up :)

  • That was a nice jump hopefully this can help me sort out my dreadful landing

  • Thumbs up if you think she's hot!

  • She'd be measured from where her ponytail landed.

  • im 13 and i got 4:80

  • goddamn she's hot!!! XD

  • Kikonin0- I know right!

  • When we do long we run, jump and we have to land on two feet. Because they measure the closest mark to the board, so if you go on ur butt then they measure where ur butt landed

  • my record is 20 feet

  • She's mad hot

  • im 12 and jumps 4m,10cm

  • I am 12 years old and in year 7 and i got 3.98m - this is my best jump. The only thing is now i keep taken off with my left foot instead of my right- anyone have any suggestions to make this stop?

  • is that lee valley? cos i've been there!

  • @ngsteven97 Yes it is ! It's fabulous isn't it? Really well equipped with really friendly and helpful staff ! I think they are using it as a training facility for the Olympics.

  • You have a sexy accent

  • How far did u jump right there? Looks around 3.50

  • @FBI703 - we filmed Jenny doing quite a few jumps to get these shots but her best jump to date is :

6.35 from a 17 stride approach which was this year at Crystal Palace, in the South of England championships.

  • @r2fteachpe Hi, I am slightly perplexed by this, as her landing ended with her falling backwards somewhat. I am 15 years old and I am the best long jumper and high jumper in my school. However, having done eight jumps this year, my reccord was about 7 metres 14 - which I'm very proud of, but my 'technique' is nowhere near as technical (much more animalistic to be honest) and I'm 75% English, 25% Irish, so I don't believe it's because of heritage... I'm simply a little confused how I manage this.

  • @FBI703 haha then i beat her and im 12 no but i wasnt bad for my age

  • @FBI703

dude 3.50 would be a really bad jump for an adult

  • @FBI703 Would've been a lot more than 3.50m?

  • @FBI703 She's good but I can jump 3.5 and im 11 :P

  • I'm going to start doing this, 0:14 , before every jump.

  • They fault me for falling on my butt

  • she could probably fly farther if she had a boob reduction.

  • @23cecropia no she could fly farther with bigger boobs :)

  • Thanks for your video :) Today I pushed my limits by 1meter now I need to practise my Technique and new shoes would be helpful :) (still dreaming about special shoes not simple running :D) THANK YOU :)

  • @DruskininkaiRunners - Liking your videos too!!!

  • Im in 7th grade and i jump a 17.4. is that normal?

  • @StarJumper28 Thats crazy bro im in 7th grade too and I get 12 feet to 12"5

  • My first ever long jump was 12'10 then I learned from this video and I can jump a 13'8 I'm looking forward to get to a 14 or maybe 15 but I don't think 15 cuz we have one more practice until sectionals!!!!!!!!

  • 0:14 , nice

  • @theboy7744 Normally athletes hit their feet, then butt, then body. Because of the momentum they still have at the landing, the point where their butt hits is usually farther than where there feet hit, not diminishing the distance. If their body hits, they would either turn sideways to land so it it still father than their shortest mark, or the momentum still carries them forward past their feet.

  • i ca only do 2.5 meters..or 7.5 feet but i dont run start just do it froma stand still i that alright?

  • is it me or does she look like the girl from toom raider

  • 7th grade getting 14 1/2

  • im all the long jump video's i've seen the athletes fall backwards in their landing. My long jump coach says if you fall backwards they measure from where their head or hands fell. How do these athletes fall backwards and still achieve a good score?

  • @kikonin0 my teachers tell us the same thing

  • @kikonin0 cause their jumping about 10 metres

  • arent you suppost to fall forward?

  • r2fteachpe, is Jenny competing this year? 6.50m surely in reach....great videos, good biomechanics knowledge, clearly presented - these are some of the best techniques videos on the tube

  • IN EUROPE WE MEASURE IN METRES NOT FEET!

  • I'm in grade 6 and i got 7.5 feet. thanks for the tipss :)

  • 6th grade I got 16.7 feet

  • I don't get how to do the ''ametersation phase'' - typo.

I can't make noise on the board.

  • if you watch her back hits where her feet first hit listen to her at the end jeez guys...

  • at our school and other competitions they mark where our body part last landed and stuff?!

  • very sexy lady

  • im in this thing and i have to long jump and im really young and i got 10 feet

  • this girl can jump!

  • Hey im in Jr. High and I jumped 17.2 ft and I thought that if u fell back they marked where your body part hit

  • she is the Kate Middleton of long jump

  • 0:39 she scratched lol

  • informative and sexy

  • my first time ever i got 15 feet

  • wrong jump xD

  • I am 12 and i can jump 14 and a half feet. AM I EPIC?

  • @beboposaur no

  • why do you lean back you can lose alot of measurement wont it????

  • how can yuh not look at the board . OMG yuhre good!

  • Scratch? 0:37

  • when i was 16 i could jump 6.85 with less than a year training..i stopped training two years later and now,at my 24,i wish i didn't..i think i would be a good athlete..

  • i like the ass slap 00:15 ;)

  • pro tip- dont fall back

  • I'm 15 and i jumped 4.60 without any training, is that good?

  • @StephLouiseXo its pretty good. I'm 13 ( a guy) and can jump 4.70 with out to much training. Hope that helps :)

  • i am in 7th grade and i have won long jump in both my meets and i am currently going for 16 feet (to qualify for state) i believe that this video will help.

  • @qball161 im in 8th grde and i can get 16'6" with my left leg and over 17 with my right. do i qualify for state?

  • @Tarra303 no not even close lol high school state u should be jumping consistent 20's

  • @Tarra303 Nah man, I live in Iowa and when I went ot state kids from Askaloosa and West Des Moines jumpedl ike 21

  • My first year in track and i am doing long jump. TIPS? ANYBODY? my first meet is the 7th and we havnt practice at all

  • @Cheesepufforu watch the vid about a million more times. my 1st meet is next tuesday and im in the same situation.

  • @alexgirl1127 weird so am i and i have the same situation but my meet is next weds i think...

  • she doesn't drive her knees up, she could get farther

  • This is really great :) The only thing I suggest to add is that one shouldn't land on their butt. I say this because at many of my competitions, the scorer will measure from the mark in the sand closest to the bar - including the spot from where your butt has landed in the sand.

  • @heartzndstarz im 14 also and i jumped 17'3. Today and that is my best i have also done track 2 years

  • I wanna be a long jumper!!! I wanna learn. I don't do long jump but have been running for few years. Oh is height that important for a long jumper? I'm a shorty. Lol. 1.55m.

  • Ithink I'm in love

  • - Im 14 & my best jump is like 13 something is that good ? And my best triple jump is 29'1 is that good for my age also? This is my 2nd year doing track.

  • @heartzndstarz i think that's really good! my best jump so far has been 12 ft 9 in. in the long jump and i'm 14! yur amazing keep it up!(:

  • Ive been more concerned with my takeoff, but the way she says it, I should focus more on my landing. FYI, my best jump is 5.72m with not really knowing what I was doing. Shootin for 6.21m this year!

  • Every vudeo i wqtch with her she slaps her ass

  • You guys should tell me how to improve my technique. I have videos of me jumping

  • I jump 15 feet

  • did she just slap her ass at 0:15........ok

  • I have the same sneakers as she has! :)

  • im only 13 and i got 4:33 m is that gd enough

but i landed on my feet

  • @hamooodyyy for 13 thats pretty good dude...

  • if you look closely, that jump she did was a scratch

  • was she doing the hang?

  • Dude, our long jumps dont have any like extra plastic thats a different color than the track and is placed just in front of the board, its just an old board that can easily blend in with the track if you dont pay attention...we need an upgrade :(

  • Hi I am a freshman and my best record is 17'5. I know it kinda sucks but the reason why is my left leg calf hurts every time I jump. Next week is the track meet and is there a way to heal my calf?

  • wow i learned a loot i hope i get better next day i train :)

  • 0:14 oh jea slap that... ;D

  • Nice jump.......may i know ur 100m timing?

  • what is 8.95 metres in feet???

  • @co8539 1 Meter = 3.28083989501312 Feet - go on ask another one !

  • @co8539 its 29.36352 feet

  • she didnt realy explain how you should aproach the board

  • Im 15 and i can jump 6.13m is that good?

  • don't look at the board while jumpin ur divide ur concentration n u deaccelerate.

  • i have no training at all..i jump during sports day once in every year..i jumped 4.97m and am 15 years old..whatcha say?

  • 0:15 smack that haha

  • I'm 13 and can jump 5.47 without any training at all, lazy as hell

Is 5.47m good for my age?

  • @rockss2000 Dude, I have no training at all, and my record is 4.27m... I'm turning 13 in a month.... I'd also say you're doing well, or even more than well... Imagin how good you'd be with training.. ;)

  • @rockss2000

really :S today i was practicing long jump in my school and one of my friends barely got 3.5 so i guess 5.47 is quite amazing for 13 year old XD

  • What she calls the "amortization phase" is what we in America call the "penultimate step." 0:40 Just the fact that she mentioned it at all shows that she's competed at a high level.

  • I can jump more than 8m without a run up

  • ohh play play back 0:14

  • when she jumps her back goes back and she slowsherself that way

  • @na18sum bc you should be standing straight up at the moment you start your jump phase, the momentum of her jump along with the technique causes your back to arch slightly which then acts as a "slingshot" which is where core strength comes in. If you notice how she reaches forward, while in the jump phase, it propells her forward adding to the length of the jump.

  • Any tips on the last steps before jumping?

  • your voice is sex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

  • 0:15 anyone notice that haha

  • @trizzi0927 Lmao I was about to type that, but you took it. Spank THAT!

  • thx i get a A on sport :D :D

  • pause at 0:49 , perfect position !!! :]] yes i have a duble chin!!:]

  • i'm 12 and i jump 4:30

  • @FBMOAY i think they mean 8 feet. unless they're absolutely insane

  • i have a question;

if you land on feet then your body falls, does it count your feet first or the body and is it a vault or right one? i see a lot of people did like her in Olympic Beijing 2008

  • I'm only 13 and I'm well into the early 8's.

  • @mcstabbey What?

  • what is the average long jump for a 14 yaer old boy

  • hi was just wondering when you land does the jump record from your bum or not cause when you land then slip back but keep your hands up would the jump still count from your feet?

  • How old is she? Im 15 and my own result is 6:75

  • @QuarterPounder1379 - you should trial for the championships. If you were jumping before 1964 you'd be a record breaker.

  • @r2fteachpe ye but your tech is awesome i like it make a some lessons more

  • @QuarterPounder1379 WOW! im 15 years too ,but i jump at least 6.22 :/

  • @QuarterPounder1379 My mates 14 and he jumps 6.6ish best in australia

  • @QuarterPounder1379 in croatia, my friend with who I train just jumped 6:84 and he was first :D he is 15 to.

  • HOTTY

  • 6.35? damn!!! my best in only 6.36 and that was pure luck lol

  • its best to try and twist when you land so you cant fall back (Y)

  • Hello Queen of Amber - we filmed Jenny doing quite a few jumps to get these shots but her best jump to date is :

6.35 from a 17 stride approach which was this year at Crystal Palace, in the South of England championships.

  • Anyone know what she got for that jump...?

  • so this girl wears make up everytime she hits the sand?

  • @drako1228 exactly what I thought haha
