  • Stork won because he had an observer looking at everything Bisu was doing.

  • Wow, that was so close and the players so good. So awesome. I love watching this matchup.

  • u noob comentators , u DONT SEE that bisu doesn't have observers that's why stork saw that alone shutle , u noob,s and also that 3rd reaver that dyed , korean observer showed u like 10 times that bisu doesn't have observers

  • It's really a shame moletrap and cholera didn't notice that observer because it's the main reason why stork won. But I'm giving you a thumbs-down because you sound like a 10 yr old who thinks he knows everything. Nobody is perfect and I still consider everyone in VioleTAK's the best in starcraft english commentary.

  • @lostreason1 YES.i think so this is why Stork always kno bisu wat to do!

  • yeah at this high level of gaming, stork's 2 observers vs bisu's 0 was the decisive advantage.

  • I have never seen before a pro gamer let observers in his opponent base for such time, inbeliavable Bisu let stork do that, this has a enormous mistake by Bisu, that information was the advantage necesary for Stork to take this game.

  • Amazing, it is nice to watch it again!

  • To set things straight for those that apparently can't even play the game to get it right, and those that have no experience in map making,

Yes, "Robotics Support [B]ay" is what it says in the build menu.

Yes, "Protoss Robotics Support" is what you see when you click the building.

The reason for it is that Blizzard failed to make the naming region long enough. Happens all the time when you make long custom unit names. The race name made it fail, in this case.

  • epic rivalry

  • Spoiler

Stork won due to observers. He had two, bisu none, and the info was critical for his micro.

  • the shuttle that bisu lost was empty.look again

  • *spoiler*

Bisu fought to many uphill battles...blah

    gg though...

  • Thanks. Nice even game, but the loser did some unnecessary micro-mistakes that cost him the game.

  • yeah, uphill battles FTL!

  • I dont think bisu should feel bad, i think he did very well he just got out-played.

  • my heart sank at the end of that.. ahhhh.

  • wow... just wow...

  • and btw, the quote is "I do not know with what weapons World War 3 will be fought with, but World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones." -Einstein

  • wow, what a game

  • Bisu and Stork are really AMAZING!!!!!!!they keep on producing the best protoss play!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The best protoss EVER

  • The shuttle Bisu lost about half way through the game was empty... he sent it in to try and draw Stork's dragoons off the higher ground.

  • help! i can't find the Bakho video, where is it?

  • i meant "backho", but still can't find it.

  • well, found it. i wish i hadn't. :{

  • Hahaha, I wish I hadn't found it either.

For those of you who want your virgin eyes to be ravaged, search "Lecaf dancing" in YouTube...

  • Absolutely true on the "Robotics Support Bay"

I just noticed that as well... wtf

  • dammit guys

your video quality is good but you need to fix the resolution so that it occupies the entire youtube video window

    upload 640x480 vids

  • keep up the great work

  • OMFG i watched the video :( WHY WHY ITS SO WRONG

  • quality starcraft that was so close

  • robot facility

  • theres too much pressure on these pro gamers.

i remember during my wc3 days with a pro team and i would get stressed out over ladder matches.

these guys have careers and MONEY hanging on these matches and when they lose...

    i feel their pain.

Im surprised there hasnt been a punch up when someone cheeses

  • Its like any sport. You play you get paid... i dont think there is fighting due to their culture.

cheese reminds me of american football when they do an onside kick or what ever its called.

  • You are quoting EINSTEIN.

  • more like paraphrasing.

  • why can this account post longer videos?

  • It is a 'directors' account, a directors account can post very long videos. If you go to VioleTAKS channel and below his picture, itll say director

  • That makes no sense. When Bisu attacked, Stork's nexus was JUST finishing. It was literally the perfect time for an attack, because it was the time when the economic hit from spending 400 mins on the nexus was most significant, and as late as possible before Stork started getting economy from the expo. Stork never mined a single mineral from his nat before it was destroyed. Then Bisu comfortably picked up his nat and held it the entire game. It truly was a comeback for Stork.

  • Wow, this was quite epic for PvP, I have to say I was somewhat rooting for stork but then seeing bisu at the end made me feel bad, he must have been so frustrated. A tough loss, and probably the toughest win for stork in a lonnggg time. Crazy.

  • wow.. down to the wire. soooo close. I wanted bisu to win though.

  • why the hell does everyone keep saying mole trap? Isn't it VioleTAK, or am I just retarded?

  • The real VioleTAK is retired, but his account can post longer videos, so he has given it over to Moletrap, Cholera, Klazart and Diggity.

  • VioleTAK was the account of a VOD uploader who donated his director account to moletrap, diggity, klazart and eventually the SC2GG crew (cholera, pysonic etc tec)

  • your retarded.

  • Yo, moletrap & Cholera, is there ANY possibility of downloading this video in High-quality with your commentary? It would be wonderful :)

  • How UNBELIEVABLY close this match was ^^ I mean, you guys couldn't stress that enough.Every battle was won by 1-2 units max.PvP pushed to the limits :] if either of them was late on something (like building dragoons while microing), they could have easily lost.Extremely tight :]

  • Slight delay on the video. cholera was behind 2 sec the video

  • epic...i think stork's 2 obsrvers constantly hovering over bisu's army made the difference, because he knew when to push and when he was being attacked.

  • 2 unbelievable players in top form... this game was so freaking close.

    SUPERB.

  • Excellent commentary as always, guys!

Just one thing Cholera: You can stop saying "all she wrote" now. ;)

  • another really close game. insane starcraft. also insane is that backho/jaedong dancing video. now i finally understand where those backho drawings came from.

  • this important lesson learned in this game is information. stork was able to win because of many factors, but the most important is information. First, he dropped a zealot solely for the purpose of seeing how much forces bisu had in order to expand. second, he always had 2-3 observers sitting in bisu's base that led to the shuttle snipe as well as several well-timed attacks. he even had the observer follow and prevent a possible reaver harass by bisu. finally, the hero pyron at 5 o' clock..lol.

  • don't have to read the fucking comment. it's not that hard you fucktard. just don't scroll down to the comment section before the game ends!

  • wow you didn't even think of some one having a resolution where you can see the comments without scrolling..... and you call me a tard?

without scrolling the last 5 comments are visible on my screen so FUCK off idiot....

  • i don't think the world should should adjust their commenting behavior based on your screen resolution, your strabismus and your inability to quickly maximize a youtube video upon start. if you can't resist reading the comments in those first 5 seconds of the screen's loading ge then that's your own problem. where the fuck else do you think people can discuss the actual game? on some unrelated forums?

  • That's your problem ;]

  • possibly the best game i have ever seen

  • Be cautious of the power of the all-seeing eye of the Observers.

  • 23:11... sad face =(

  • dannnnnnnng that was insane. gg.

  • This game had me on the edge of my seat. Seriously. This game was just epic. I can't get over how close it was all game. ._.

  • I think that if they can spare the resources early on, a second robotics facility could help in the late game.

Not just for reevers, but for the shuttles- bisu could have saved 3 or 4 reevers if he just had shuttles to hold them in.

  • Epic!!!

I actually felt sorry for Bisu with though I was routing for Stork

  • observer won the match! hero observer?

  • FRIST POST!

  • WOw...bisu's face at the end

  • Stork's face at the end was notable too. He was so relieved when it was over, and covered with sweat too.

Bisu should not be ashamed. That was a great game, and he only lost because of small mistakes that even pros end up making.

  • Yeah, but I can see the beginning of another slump for bisu just from his face. He looked totally crushed. But Hopefully, I am wrong

  • The quote you're thinking of is Einstein's.

"I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought with, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

In a letter to Truman, of all people.

  • Looks like you beat me to the punch on that correction...

  • the quote was from Albert Einstein about weapons of worldwar 3

  • Diggety the quote you mentioned at the end was Einstein.

  • it was not diggety -.- that was cholerasc -.-

  • cholera not diggity :P

  • excellent game!!! epic battles! really worth watching!

  • anyone agrees that stork's observers are the determining factor in this game?

Stork picks off bisu's shuttle and 2revs by seeing it's coming...his observers are hanging out at bisu's front door most of the time.

  • I wish this was the finals, again. Or even best v winner of this, since the current state of pvp is pretty fascinating. Simple but very micro intensive. I shouldn't hope for a mirror final, but skill cap between stork/bisu/best and fantasy/ggplay atm is just pretty wide.

  • Moletrap, please get your act together. Stork and Bisu met in the final of the MSL. For the MSL Group D games, you said BackHo only got to Ro8, he got to semis in Ever OSL.

  • observers can mean the game and any experienced sc gamer will agree. if u watch this again and watch how stork has scouting with an observer, noting the opponents unit count and sizing up the other force.

  • I definitely agree. I'm surprised the commentators didn't mention this.

One of the main reasons Stork had fewer reavers (despite replacing them less often) was that he was putting out a bunch of observers to scout Bisu's every move.

Bisu was just so behind he couldn't spare the gas on obs; compare that to Stork's massive gas count at the end.

  • that's true. That's why Bisu doesnt have any obs and Stork scouts all his movement.

  • STORK VERSUS BEST FTWinnnnnn

  • I don't think that shuttle had two reavers in it. I think it was a calculated risk by Bisu. He didn't have any reavers in it so that Stork would think he had the advantage when in actuality his reavers were at his natural. He was trying to get Stork to get off the high ground. I think. Correct me if I am wrong.

Also to those who think that Stork will take the OSL. I have one word for you BeSt. Don't get me wrong I love Stork as well but he can't beat the PvP monster BeSt.

  • YES INSANE MATCH! STORK FTW!

  • my two favorite players!!!!!!!!!! i cant choose a side!!!!!

  • wow... that has to be the closest fight I´ve seen in ages! EPIC!

  • Absolutely amazing. I haven't been so on the edge of my seat during a match in a long time. Stork better go on to win the title this year-- it's about friggin time, and it would be a shame to fail out of the tournament after winning such an epic match.

Great commentary as always, Moletrap and Cholera!

  • I second that! Stork needs to win this. He's the new Boxer, I swear!

  • that lost shuttle + 2 reavers by bisu ...

  • awesome game

one of the best pvp's ever

  • thats one of the sickest matches Ive ever seen. If this game was in WoW it would be purple

  • Kill the observers the obseerveers! argh the pain he is out...

Well anyways that was a great match!

  • stork had those observers over bisu's ramp and outside his natural, which won the game for him imo.

the observers let stork pick off bisu's shuttle and deny harass, and let him know when bisu was moving out and how many units he had.

What an epic epic slugfest of a PvP!

  • the syncing is a bit off (the dancing video is deeply disturbing, but Jaedong still reinforces his awsomeness)

  • Epic match. Stalemate after stalemate after stalemate. Too be honest though, I'm pretty surprised neither of you ever mentioned the fact that Stork had 2 Observers sitting in Bisu's base for practically the entire game. IMO that was one of the major factors contributing to Storks victory. He knew exactly when to push and when to retreat every time.

  • legendary game

  • this game is a master piece

the most talented protoss players of all time going for it.

i hope bisu takes the msl

  • jaedong = raver?!??!!hahahah

  • its called techtronic. pretty dope new dance

  • tectonik, french dance ^^

  • It's BAY! There's a reason for the B hotkey.

  • It is actually the Robotics Support Bay. If you go to the Campaign Creator, that is what it is entitled, even when you go to change the name, it says Bay by default, but yeah, like Hamster says, the Bay gets cut off on the tag in the game because there is only s much room. So it does contain 'Bay' in fact.

  • The build menu says "Robotics Support Bay" (and the hotkey is B), but the name when you select the building is "Protoss Robotics Support" because the additional "Protoss" makes it much longer.

  • old school low econ awesomeness

  • i paused the game to go watch the vid with jaedong dancing, freaking awesome.

  • High ground miss chance FTW.

  • awsome game

  • Oh, I got tired of waiting, and just watched it on jon747... Damn, now I have to watch it again:D

  • lol, that happens to me a lot too

  • It definitely says Robotics Support Bay

  • The exact quote is something like "if world war III is fought with atomic bombs, world war IV will be fought with sticks and stones"

  • ROFL WW4?

"No one knows what weapons would be used in WW3

But everyone knows what weapons would be used afterwards and those are sticks and stones"

  • The actual quote - which was actually said by Einstein:

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought,

but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

  • Amazing Quote!

  • Stork lost the first battle (when he had the hill advantage) because he was picking up a reaver with his shuttle.

In all this was a very balanced PvP and as someone mentoined before, Stork distance mined earlier, and those were those 2 extra dragoons in the last battle.

I am glad that Stork won. Because I found Bisu more of a defensive player.

  • best PvP i've seen lately :D, thx guyz for great commentary

  • they should have suits for uniforms :P

    or duster jackets XD

  • Cholera, that quote is Winston Churchill, by the way.

    Great game, great series!

  • the quote is from Albert Einstein actually ;)

  • y didnt bisu get an ob to kill storks ob that was in his base providin vison.. that was the major mistake on bisu part

  • Probably couldn't afford spending the 75 gas after losing 2-4 observers earlier. That's why he aborted the reaver-drop when he noticed the observer tailing his shuttle.

He should have placed a photon cannon on the cliff though. Would have been a tremendous help not only against Stork's observers, but also in the end battle.

Great game by both players though, I can't believe how close it was..

  • best PvP i've ever seen, it's easy to forgive the tiny mistakes that crept in at the end after such a long knife-edge game

  • Completely awesome series.

  • amazing game

  • i think it came from engineering bay

  • Yeah where were Bisus obs?

    No money??

    But just amazing play

  • Stork kept sniping them. Great game.

  • that wouldn't work in a pro game, but you could try that with regular joes on bnet, but they'll probably call you a noob.

  • @xr4v3rx

hehe, thanks, i think they would call me a noob anyway ^^.

maybe cholera should try it out alongside his awsome "cholera builds" (just kidding ;))

  • Im not really good at sc (haven't played for some years), but watching comments for almost 2 years now.

I just wondered if a build like this could actually work (would be a bit of a cheese):

    - send out a scouting probe after pylon

    - build a meta-pylon which totally fails on purpose (so the enemy wont attack you as fast)

    - meanwhile put down a forge at your base

    - place as much cannons as you can in the enemys base

dont know if this would actually work. maybe some better players could tell me ;)

  • as soon as a pro player sees cannons warping in, he will send probes after them. just one probe should be enough to kill a cannon if it starts at it warps in. won't work cause its a waste of early minerals. but against a nub it might

  • *spoiler*

Man, if Bisu had just put out one obs, I think he could have won...Stork was always able to make the right calls because he constantly had 2-3 observers hovering over Bisu's main force and trailing his shuttles. In particular the one time he managed to pick off the shuttle full of reavers just as is was moving out on its own was probably enough to decide this game, as close as it ended up being.

  • meh thats impossible lol. stork did a very good job sniping of observers and robo units (reavers and shuttles) . bisu's robo was always bsy, and if it stopped for a minute to amke an extra observer stork would have gone in.

  • Very good games. Thank you!

  • I like BeSt's PvP games.

haha, he has like 80% wins in versus Protoss.

  • good pvp

  • EPIC !! :O

great comeback and distance mining ftw !

btw i believe that it's robotic support bay

  • when u build the robo its call a robotics support bay

  • What an awesomely well balanced game that was. I noticed that Stork went for distance mining first and then Bisu followed suit once he scouted Stork doing it. I wonder if those ten seconds or so of extra minerals is what kept Bisu from having the minerals to build those extra two dragoons to hold Stork's final push off.

  • wow... GG

  • Wow, amazing game as always when these two play. I could watch them go at one another all day. Good comeback by stork, GG

  • Stork looked EXHAUSTED after that game. This is how starcraft SHOULD be. Amazing bo3.

  • Bisu really sucked this game, he sent in the shuttle knowing stork had vision, and he sent in 3 up the ramp without reinforcements.. he just let stork rape him with observers..

  • "sucked" is a bit harsh ^^

    good game and good commentary

  • gg....

  • You've done your contribution to this world but having a "first". Good job, you are now useless and you can end your life.

  • LOL, that's mean

  • Indeed, but goddamn I'm tired of seeing "first" poster on every vid I watch.

  • My feelings exactly, well said sir.

    LOLZ I R FIRST I R SPESHUL!!!!1!11
