  • beer batter? really? cmon, bobby......nopales...thats where its at.

  • balsamic reduction? really? no mames ...This guys a joke.

  • oh man i love chili rellenos, they are veggie, pork free and so yummy

  • -TO ALL WHO HAVE SEEN MY LAST COMMENT ON THIS VIDEO-

I AM SINCERELY SORRY!!! I TAKE IT BACK! ANYONE CAN JUDGE ANYKIND OF FOOD!

  • @1917fatima You know, a lot of people would take you seriously if you didn't type it in caps.

  • @bloodprincess800 there, happy now?

  • Bobby is full of himself, I don't like his show

  • Just went yesterday and they have the best tres moles enchiladas! Just the experience of eating there and their service was so wonderful! They have the best flan and just so many other kinds of food that my family and I tasted! We spoke to the chef and he was so kind and full of passion for what he does! Great place to eat in the city of Bell!

  • Esos son fake chiles rellenos, chiles con salsa catsu para gringos !!!

Coman verdadera comida mexicana, no se dejen engañar!

  • mi ama ase unos chiles ke les gana a esos pelones

    lol!!

my mom makes them in a caldo

    but theres looks good too

  • What this video fails to show you is that these guys are trying to prove to people that mexican food can be healthy. They didn't like the backlash mexican food was getting, oily, greasy and blah blah blah. So they created a restaurant THEIR WAY. i.e making chiles rellenos without meat and using the napales instead of meat. Goes to show you don't always have to have meat in your food to have flavor. To all the pricks that are complaning that they aren't making authentic mexican food is retarded

  • It only happened to you Robert3137700434 because I'm sure they detected that your'e a bonafide racist asshole.

  • pinches pelones mas putos!!!!!ja ja gay fukers lol

  • thats dirt they didnt even frie it

  • I like Bobbys way of doing it better, we fry them in New Mexico.

The only time that I have seen them NOT fried was in a grocery store and probably made by white people

and a mushroom stuffing-WTF is up with that

  • Mexicans are such food nazis. I live in New Mexico, and have seen the same dishes made several different ways. Get over yourselves and appreciate that there is not one way to make a dish, and chefs will always put a spin on any cuisine.

  • @Criblo456

then they should call it something else

  • "HOW CAN YOU JUDGE MEXICAN FOOD IF YOU ARE NOT MEXICAN? "

Then I guess food critics ALL have to be the nationality of the food they are eating? There are thousands of authentic places in the States because of all the immigrants. Also, I know many Mexican-Americans that have absolutely no idea about good Mexican food--just because they came from a Mexican family doesn't mean their family were any good at cooking traditional meals.

  • would it better if rick bayless was a judge?

  • I love you Grandma!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I agree, being mexican myself, there is never anything better than Grandma's cookin!!

  • @1917fatima I don't think they're judging to see how mexican it is. They're judging to see which one tastes better.

  • @1917fatima I don't think you have to be a certain ethnicity to judge the food. For instance, Americans can judge French food, because they are trained in it's prep, or have eaten it frequently, i.e, a food writer, who travels to sayyyyy, Mexico, and appreciates the food and eats it, can comment. No need to be Mexican, or X, Y, or Z ethnicity to judge food. It's akin to saying a an American can judge what hamburger is best, because they are American, but have no judgement or taste.

  • @1917fatima You don't have to be from region to judge good food.

That would void out Iron Chef, Top Chef...well most food judging shows.

  • always loved this dish. i also like the greek, and even korean, stuffed peppers which usually have meat in 'em (a lot of it)

  • is there ever gonna be any respect for mexican food or the americans always going to take a mexican food recipe add ketchup to it and then say its texmex. cause its like the texmex food is always been here and the mexican food is tasteless and the americans always have make everything in this world, i've seen colombianmexican ecuatorianmexican chinesemexican guatemamexican food restaurants its like everybody takes credit for mexican food so my guess is mexican food is from anywhere but mexico

  • he drank the worm hahaha

  • I love chiles rellenos... just by watching some videos here i learn how to make them. Mexican food is so rich in flavor and so complex that is worth it to try to learn it.

  • I appreciate the visual of the videos, but I would like a recipe so I can make it myself. This video is fun to look at but I want to learn how cook this dish

  • What is so significant about cactus in Mexican cuisine? Isn't tasteless?

  • Do yourself a favor and do some reserach regarding the benefits that eating "Nopal" castus can do to your body. Flavor is not always the only thing you get from food.

On the other hand.... what this nice "gringos" are doing is not at by any means Mexican cuisine... the video show a nice representation of "GringoMex"...

Come to Mexico and have some food... then you can comment about it...

    EL ZORRO.

  • also called tex-mex

  • why not just come over to Los Angeles (where this throw down takes place). don't have to go to mexico.

  • Its cheap, and in a lot of cases free, thats why alot of mexicans can afford it

  • Despite living in a Latin country I know very little about Mexican food and its flavours. I got curious to taste estos Chiles Rellenos Vegetarianos.

Me pareceron muy sabrosos. Viva el Mexicoo!

    "Beijos do Brasil":D

  • Pretty girl at 1:41 guys. Dam so cute

  • I like the girl on the far left better @ 4:23 lol.

  • haha I think its the same girl...

  • Yum. I usually use an Anaheim chile rather than a poblano. This gives me the urge to try cooking cactus.

  • omg rellenos r my fav mexi...but they have to b breaded n fried...blue corn is nice too. everything bobby does has vinegar in it whats up with that lol.

  • this is vegetarian---no meat!

  • its so weird how every mexican cook their chile renenos different..!!

my family stuff their chile renenos with cheese or beef..n man their delicious!!!!

  • I love rellenos but not too spicy hot like Flay LOL!
