Hi Lucyanne, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I was just thankful I got the steps in the right order; the last time I taught this was to a group of college students during a 24 hour disco in 1979. Gail (with the lop-sided camera technique) just happened to be in the class.
I let Gail borrow my camera and she was trying to get the dancers head and feet in the picture, she didn't realise everyone would come out 'sideways'.
Yes, the dancers were a bit off key - quite a lot actually - but we didn't mind, the whole point of the evening was to have fun and enjoy ourselves. We certainly did that!
Hello Eileen, it's Chirpy! When's the next one? We've already had the next one, you missed it, you were in Dubai - or was it Abu Dhabi - or maybe even Oobie Doobie! Either way, you missed it, sorry. Now the good news... you'll be pleased to know we'll be having something for the old folk in the near future! :)
What's next? You'll just have to come along to the re-run in December to find out Chez, or maybe I'll get the old folks to do it at the gig on Tuesday with a bit of help from Julie Andrews maybe? "Odl lay hee hoo!"
Hi Bev. There are five guys dancing in total. There's Bob on the right in a pale blue shirt, Adrien at the front with a white polo top and dark green body warmer. Behind him is young Sam who's really getting into it and showing his mum Jacqui how to do it properly. :) Then at the back wearing a white shirt is Neil, he's probably the one you meant as he's the only one left at the end. In 'Take Two' you'll see a guy on the left doing the John Travolta pose. That's Ian and that makes five in total.
Beautiful ladies and nice song = )
