Look, I never said that Itzhak Perlman was bad at violin. I'm a violin player myself (though with only 3 years of experience) and I say that he is extraordinary.

I just think David is better!

Whats your prob? Ppl can have opinions can't they? there are so many people in this world. Itzhak fans and David fans. Im a fan of both i just think David is better. For you, its just vise versa.

I know this piece well, and I can say his tempos, intonation, and technique are all admirable, and he plays with great spirit and style.

But he is not making music with the piece at all. Anyone who knows some good versions of different violinists will know what i mean.

He just wants to thrill the mainstream ordience. Thats ok.. but there isnt any musicality in his playing.

I'll answer for wilson1314925... This performer happens to despise both the music and his gullible listeners. This is unfortunate, but true, and it is being thrown at all of us at 1:15 (or was it 1:16). I could not watch much past that, such horrific low we have encountered in the music culture of our time.
