The 1997 Constitution of the Maldives designates Islam as the official state religion. The Government interprets this provision to impose a requirement that citizens be Muslims. ive been last year at bora bora st regis resort and that was the beautifulst place on earth,maledives are never so good than thaiti go to bora bora :) but its soo expensive

@luccakusej Actually Maldives is just as pretty as Bora Bora. More people return to Maldives than to Bora Bora. Just google search Maldives vs Bora Bora. Maldives have much better beaches and soft powdering sand, and not as commercialized as Bora Bora, much more secluded, exclusive and remote. We just got back from Zitahli resort in Maldives & stayed at a 2100 sqaure feet Water Bungalow with private infinity pool. More than twice the size of water bungalows in Bora Bora.

this video is very well and whit this song is exclent. I m going on Maledives. I think that Maledives are the most beutiful country on the world. Im form Czech Republic and here isnt summer all year and we havnt sea. It is a pity because on Maledives from Czech it does takes a lot off moneys.

For white sands and respectful people I visit The Philippines because I don't want to be called a swine or looked down upon. That's why I have travelled to the Philippines where they understand English and respect visitors! A ncie neat Christian population plus the beaches are superb!

And.. i understand you, Santorini is beautiful as well, we also have Sicily and Sardinia Islands which are beautiful but believe me... the atmosphere is completely different! I went in 1988 and stayed in North Ari Atoll. It was very expensive then at around $100 per night.

GREAT diving and serene atmosphere. One night two Italian opera singers on holiday sang together in the lagoon and it was magical.

Try other countries for similar experience, like Malaysia or Thailand.
