Wally Schirra may be my favorite of the original astronauts. The only one to fly all 3 spacecraft in the 60's, a prankster and we share the same birthday. Happy Birthday Wally! I just wish I could have met you last year like I was supposed too. Missed you by 6weeks.

This was filmed after Deke's death in 1993 from brain cancer. Wally Schirra also passed away from a heart attack in 2007.
