Uh, I could do the same thing TEN YEARS ago with my replaytv. And I've been able to do that via Windows MediaCenter for the past FIVE YEARS.

just a software upgrade. Sooo, let me get this straight.

They're gonna mess up your original firmware and switch it with the AT&T firmware.

Couple of weeks later, the device is broken because of the firmware mallfunction.

You need to buy a new one and you'll have to pay a price per month.

So it's not free.

That is a very valid point dude! These kinds of new inventions embrace the whole notion that America is becoming a fat, unhealthy, lazy, and an unintelligent society. Reason being, is because no one wants to be innovative any more. Everything is laid out on a platter for you and it does not require any thinking; very counter-productive nation we've evolved to!
