I've loved this group since 1976 when we saw them opening for Rush in a small indoor venue in Oakland, CA. They blew me away then and continue to blow me away with each new video that's posted here on YT. Does anyone have a Studio version or a good live one of "Alone Again Or" ?
Bootleggs,Bideo,Bynal,Bassette Bape and even Beight Bracks. There a buttload of super cool media from Father Phil and his flock.I'm runnin in to neat shit thats new to me.We're a special breed us UFans. We appreciate the consistent heart tuggin-nut crunchin brand of soulful rock the the guys deliver.I wish they'd deliver a little closer to me.Im going to Las Vegas from Salt Lake to see them in september.Anyway,to all fellow UFO's, UFO OR DIE MUTHAFUKAS!!!
One of the most frighteningly beautiful hard rock songs ever ...
Was wondering who the drummer was, as he's quite good in these videos: duh!
Vinnie, you're a killer guitar player - but this is one of Schenker's most sublime moments ( one of his first I ever learned ), I don't think it can be improved on.
@theraybergs He was so good at finding the groove, I knew he had to be somebody special, that doesn't happen every day, especially in an understated song like this, where it's all about doing that extremely well ( by the time I posted, I had figured out it was Jason, thus the "Duh!", what's cool however is: I didn't recognize him at first, but you could still tell he had to be somebody special, just by his feel )
Thisis UNREAL! Makes me cry too..this version is GREAT! Fuck. Thank God for youtube. How would I(a huge UFO fan from 1977) have ever come across this incredible stuff? Bootlegs of course, but wow...so cool.
Really never noticed how much the Orchistra played into UFO B4, Somethin tells me this is Phil Moogs brainchild, which makes me wonder if there was some kinda band power struggle b4 Schenker left.
won't somebody get this released...on mtv, vh-1, radio, xm...anywhere. its way too good to just be left here for those of us who search for ufo tracks...
that's one of the reasons I mainly post UFO/MSG audio-tracks & videos here,MTV,VH1 are own by VIACOM,& VIACOM is 1 of many sources responsible for having a lot of great videos & accounts removed from youtube,I closed the book on MTV & VH1 & radio years ago, they'll never show or play UFO/MSG ever again, they play a lot of shitty music now anyways!
You can find this stuff on the DVD Showtime released in 2005. DVD 1 is UFO live in concert and DVD 2 has several songs like this one recorded in the studio.
Yes try meeeeee

No, it was Jason Bonham's idea. And it's Phil MOGG, not Moog

I've seen UFO 6 times in the late 70's & early 80's. This is superb, can't believe I've stumbled across this song - superb.
Thanks for putting this on.
