Even though this wasn't Parasite Eve and the story was a bit confusing, I really miss the atmosphere of the game. I hope they make one for PS3 very soon.
um..no this game is horrible i beat it and just bad. All men care about is shooting; the dumb story has too many plot holes and is stupid. This is a ghetto version of Call of Duty- Square enix has really been f-ing up lately in the game making department. I know 11 people who agree with me and have resold the game. All men care about is guns and tits- stupid having Aya loose close as she fights; do it with a guy- you won't see that.

when they pack a gtx 580 or amd 6970 into a console. BEFORE the amd 7000 series and before the nvidida 600 series comes out..THEN i'll be impressed enough to play console. til then. lol. console doesn't compared to the potential of the gaming custom built pc. and I damn sure dont see a CONSOLE system able to display ANY game at 2560x 1440 resolution. you're welcome. there's always emulators. oh..that's right..they have ps3 and xbox 360 emulators now. X-D . pc is the champ AGAIN.

@XXSoosaXX94 Lost Odyssey is still the best RPG from either system at this point. Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, and Star Ocean were all decent and they used to be exclusives(I think Tales still is). Mass Effect 1 remains exclusive, and is still a good game. Fable 2 and 3, while not the best RPGs ever, are still worth a playthrough for any RPG enthusiast. PS3 has some great RPGs as well, but a person would be seriously missing out if they settled for one or the other.
Honestly, I like where they went with it. I've been playing PE all my life and not once did I think that this game was terrible. The story line is new & the whole overdive battle system is fun. The graphics are too good to be on psp. Besides that, this is a spin-off, not an actual PE. Hence it being only called The 3rd Birthday. They did this in an attempt to see if the series was still popular. If it was, they'd most likely bring PE back for this gen... So pretend you fuckin' like it.
@craponnaruto This isn't Parasite Eve though, the story is fucking horrible and reason for this is because Square didn't get the rights from the original author so they had to change every aspect from the last 2 games e.g Mitochondrian Monsters are now called "The Twisted"???? and the reason why "The Twisted" exist is one of the dumbest things l've ever heard.
The only reason why they marketed this game as a new PE is because they got Aya Brea in this game, who might as well be anybody.
Ofcourse u all like it, because you aren´t fans of PE at all. You r just fans of these new run and shoot games, no story att all, you don´t give a shit about who the character is, if you can kill something then its worth playing. We have lost the whole concept of survival horror and story telling games. And it isnt even as hard as it has been. Fuck the new generation games!

I agree with everything you said, there are very few games that come out now that have any good story and the ones that do are way to short to even enjoy fully. all they do now is upgrade the graphics and add bigger and louder guns with more people to shoot at.

Battles is all about strategy Using Overdive, Cross-fire and Key weapons.. So its alot more adrenaline packed...! Unique DNA customization and Cool Gunzz !!

@trisgriffin It's called a Spinoff and don't call it piece of shit cause it's still PE and it continues a bit of the story from PE2 which was the best in my opinion too. Whatever I bet you didn't even finish the game yet and you judge it. For me it's a great mix of PE2 gameplay and PE1 feeling and I couldn't expect more of it + the story is massive brainkiller. That's what you call a game, I'm glad it's not typicall shooter but alot more.

So Yes you will enjoy it alot if you are able to understand the plot. It's heavily science fiction but hey... I played PE2 with encyclopedia when I was 15 too :)
I find it kinda weird they'd revive a 10 year old IP as a portable game, you'd think they'd want to get some mileage out of their Crystal Tools engine.

blargh, aya, if this makes it to a console, you'll be looking like a 12yo. mitochondria or not, she's looking like shes becoming younger and younger looking. she doesnt not look like the same mature woman from the other 2 games. even the art style is the same, but her face has changed. ;l
@Varukiri Isn't is because of the mitochondria? She maintains a youthful look because the mitochondria would regenerate her skin cells to stop old age. It's a strange mechanic, but who are we to complain? It's Parasite Eve, and it rocks.

@Varukiri If you examine PE1 and 2 carefully, they totaly have different CGI and in game models.. This T3B Aya isn't really far off from the Shower Scene CGI Aya from PE2.. in official 2d Art, Aya looks a slightly more mature in PE1 concept art.

Just goes to show Square Enix can do anything, they can do 1st person shooter survivals and make them epic, just like they can make rpg's epic, SE I love you forever ^-^
She looks much more Japanese than in the first two games,and is it just me,or did she get even younger...?Regardless,i am glad they stayed loyal to the PS instead of moving on to some other platform like some other games(dont deserve mention).Another reason to look forward to the cool winter for me.
@stillprince Parasite Eve is my favorite series as well. I still have and still playing the second game. I can't wait for the third game to come out. Do you have both games or just one game?
@playered85 I have both and I've beat both more times than I care to remember.
I've even managed to beat Nightmare mode and replay the 2nd game enough times to get the items I want from the specific ranks (my favourite being the Hypervelocity gun xD). I never get tired of them~

Last boss suck, Parasite eve is all about the last boss and guess what it suck.

I loved Parasite eve 1, what an epic game, it had everything you could want from a shooter RPG of its style, Parasite eve 2 was just as good too, lets hope that the long long wait for the sexy Aya is worth it!

blargh, aya, if this makes it to a console, you'll be looking like a 12yo. mitochondria or not, she's looking like shes becoming younger and younger looking. she doesnt not look like the same mature woman from the other 2 games. even the art style is the same, but her face has changed. ;l

@Varukiri Isn't is because of the mitochondria? She maintains a youthful look because the mitochondria would regenerate her skin cells to stop old age. It's a strange mechanic, but who are we to complain? It's Parasite Eve, and it rocks.

@Varukiri If you examine PE1 and 2 carefully, they totaly have different CGI and in game models.. This T3B Aya isn't really far off from the Shower Scene CGI Aya from PE2.. in official 2d Art, Aya looks a slightly more mature in PE1 concept art.

@playered85 I have both and I've beat both more times than I care to remember.
I've even managed to beat Nightmare mode and replay the 2nd game enough times to get the items I want from the specific ranks (my favourite being the Hypervelocity gun xD). I never get tired of them~
