  • where can i get these songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I GOT THE LOOT U can Play me like a FLUTE

  • Used to follow this band around like a groupie.lol.

Sherman Ferguson was my mentor and a good friend.

Catalyst was indeed ahead of it's time and contained some of the greatest musicians ever on the planet.

  • CATALYST are the MOST

  • this is special because these cats more than likely came out of the inner city. you'd never think that cats like these could cook up something like this

  • thissssss is the type of music that should come to mind when referring to the black race.....

not lil wayne.... or tupac and biggie smalls.... or 50 cent, or any other gang banging thug who breathes negativity into that race

truly is a shame that modern (black folks) music is nothing like this anymore. this really is a diamond in the rough

  • @kitches1991 not that whole hiphop scene is negativ,i agree witchu on hte mainstream tho,but artits like,2pac,biggie,mos def, black thought, rakim are really smart dudes and got some real intelegent lyrics if you can see through the lines

  • thank you for posting this. i have been looking for this song. it was written for me...im "little miss lady"....check the album notes!!!......

  • this song is making love to my ears

  • supernenna

  • @ansiaterrier BINGO BONGO

  • No question these guys were sent back from the future , you expect to hear this kind of stuff in the year 9000.

  • this reminds me a little bit of lonnie liston smith...

  • I think this is a bit more abstract than what LLS have done but there are some similarities, granted

  • im down with sampling cuz i do it myself, but kanye is a fruit cake who dont do shit with any samples

  • @treeZon1 he speeds everything up 2 fast, I agree wit you

  • @treeZon1 LOL, but i give kanye props for that "we almost detroit sample"

  • @treeZon1 wadya mean by that?

  • fuck kanye

  • damn this is real good!

  • This 70's jazz fusion track could easily be one of the best jazz fusion tunes of today, that's how far ahead of its time this was, this is music, incredible music that is.

  • Amazing sound.....could have easily mistaken for Herbie Hancock or Hubert Laws, typical early 70's music.....sounds fresh even today. Please post more, this group is hard to find...

  • Couldn't agree more! This is why some people say that I'm "stuck" in the 70's. As well as growing up on it...the music from then had SUBSTANCE and MEANING!!! Kinda like watching a good movie with a thick plot! ANYTIME music has substance, it's gonna last forever! It just so happens that NOT TOO MUCH music nowadays has that same level of SUBSTANCE so I'm not really checkin' for too many cats. The ones that ARE of SUBSTANCE are the ones I follow.

  • this was sampled by Kanye West for a song I cant recall

  • does anyone know what song kanye used this for? id like to hear how he fused these sounds into a song.

  • definitely not the 1st album, i ll listen to the 2nd and the 3rd I know its on there, he just sped up the 0:40 second part with the organ
