Well looks like ol' Jerry here is sore after losing Caen to 3rd battalion and those king tigers and jadgpanthers aren't gonna make this easy. But I've seen 3rd battalion pull out of tough situations like the liberation of Caen, this should be no different for them if they're lucky

The King Tigers and Jagdpanthers in this mission are so horribly overpowered it's not even funny. They are like 20x stronger than in a normal game.

@MistrEgg i know. i destroyed the 88s and the 50 tanks that you have to destroy and then i was attacked by 2 jagdpanthers and a king tiger. i destroyed the tiger but lost 2 churchills and a cromwell. then i destroyed one of the jagdpanthers but lost 7 cromwells and a churchill. the final jagdpanther killed me

that was quite possibly the hardest british mission, i lost tank after tank to those KT's and jagdpanzers

This one for me is easy, after clearing out all of the 88s, I sent troops to occupied them then chose the royal engineer doctrine to be able to "over-fix" tanks and 88 guns, then I just sit back with AT- infantry in trenches protecting the 88s flank and roast 1st SS panzer column.

imagine those who played this one out for real...the brits and canadians not forgetting the poles, mixing it with a well disiplined well trained extremely well armoured fighting force that were the germans under the most horrendous elements of warfare. absolutely beyond belief.. hats off to those guys on all sides..at least you lot can turn your game off when you like! not like those poor chaps. ( interesting vid clip tho')

When i reached the final victory point with 3 Cromwells and 3 Shermans and a command tank with over repair being killed in one shot on a 90% chance (only one of the fireflys survived a direct hit from the king tiger). I just arty the hell of the town with creeping barrages and Lieutenants and commander barraging till the ground leveled 10 feet below what it was

The same thing happened to me when I assaulted the town the first time.

I hadn't lost any of my tanks until then. And then I lost seventeen before I had cleared the town.

at start it was easy mission , but when i met king tigers and jagdpanthers it turned in to hell, lost all my 6 tanks (2 churchills,2 fireflys,1 command cromwel,1 cromwel)in less than minute !But my artillery destroyed everything speaking german in map =)

i would use a fire and manuever tactic, would have as many fireflys as i could get, advnace with half while the other half was in hull down, i only lost 2 fireflyes doing that

Eh..I dont find any use for the engineers on last level because you already get churchills, I just went Arty and did okay.

I used an arty emplacement in the town to clear the 88 ridge then at the intersection i set up 3 17 pdrs, the tanks you get, and 3 arty emplacements to pound the second town

I think he picked RSE because they have better defences, like the emplacements are harder to knock down with.
