  • @aaduvet youre getting stronger by doing this! do about 10% more weight than you usualy do on a dumbbell and do them negative for a warmup on a workout day :)

  • Very nice. It's all about stretching the muscle. Not just contracting it. I go to the same gym in Tucson

  • yess yes, this is by far the best way of training. dorian yates and mike metzner used HIT to their fullest and dorian in particular realy emphasises the negative. so, in theory as long as you get a good contraction at the peak and lower down slowly you will 100% see some solid gains. i would personally recommend a good 5 secong squeeze and 5-6 seconds lowering but dont go al under the way down you wanna keep tht muscle constantly under tension. little insider info tht never gets shared. god luk
