I love and watch your movies but in all due respect I have to say I want the wolves hunted. In Northern Idaho they are a clear and present danger. The wolf has no fear of man or woman. When a wolf will come to your door to kill your family pet it is a danger. My dog was killed in my presence. I measured the blood trail. It starts 5' 7" from my door and less than 2 feet from my dinning room window. My dog was killed mid day at 12:35 in the afternoon.I live in the country but not in wilderness.

But there are Canadian wolves that are "reintroduced" to idaho are called the MacKenzie Valley wolves... And they are much bigger, aggressive and hunt in larger packs. For one Idaho extended the season because the restricted quota could was not met as wolves are extremely hard to hunt, the fact is wolves are so prolific that their numbers far exceded the established numbers intended for the program and have become a detriment to elk, ranchers, and anyone living around them. When a wolf will come to your door to kill your family pet it is a danger. My dog was killed in my presence. I measured the blood trail. It starts 5' 7" from my door and less than 2 feet from my dinning room window. My dog was killed mid day at 12:35 in the afternoon.I live in the country but not in wilderness.

i think most of us here in Idaho are ok with a limited number of wolves in our state--as was the plan originally. Problem is the wolf population has grown at a much faster rate than anyone would have expected. Now wolves are a real threat, and if left unmanaged, they will continue to devastate our deer, elk, and other species they prey on. How would you feel if someone in another state told you how to manage your state? How many is too many? Why can't we decide--this is our backyard.

But there are Canadian wolves that are "reintroduced" to idaho are called the MacKenzie Valley wolves... And they are much bigger, aggressive and hunt in larger packs. I will be using my Winchester Custom Model 70 rifle in 22-250 caliber. The problem continues for pro wolfers and DOW. The fact is the wolves have not been slaughtered. The population of wolves is the same as this time last year signifying that no major reduction of woves has been recorded as Miss Judd claimed would happen. Also the fact remains that pro wolfers have not been right about a single thing they said would happen since the beginning of the reintroduction. It seems that they are just crying wolf.

For one Idaho extended the season because the restricted quota could was not met as wolves are extremely hard to hunt, the fact is wolves are so prolific that their numbers far exceded the established numbers intended for the program and have become a detriment to elk, ranchers, and anyone living around them. It must be easy to preach from your pulpit in the Hollywood hills not having to walk around the woods armed with your dogs leashed miles away from roads.

You are an idiot. The wolves that were reintroduced to Idaho are not even the native canines that once roamed my beautiful state. They are Canadian gray wolves. The wolves that were nearly wiped out in my state were timber wolves, a significantly smaller creature with a far smaller appetite. These Canadian behemoths roam the stretches in Northern Canada where caribou are plentiful. Here, they eat 3 deer for every caribou they would feast on in their native hunting grounds

I love wolves. That is why I'm glad that we provide places for them to live in as natural a way as possible. These include national parks and national forests where they have limited human contact. In these areas they have the best chance to thrive. When allowed to spread beyond these boundaries and compete for resources with man, they will lose. This is not fair to the wolves.
