I grew up seeing these all over Rumania. I always like to see the Renault R8 Gordini or as they are called in Rumania Dacia 1100. My brother in law who lives in Rumania has a friend who is the towns mechanic and he built one its not a Renault but a Dacia 1100 same thing different name. Its gray and he bored the motor out to 1200CC and that thing is fast he replaced everything internally on the motor and now the motor is good for about 120HP. For this little body it really hauls.

In ENGLISH its written and pronunced Rumania. In the RUMANIAN language its written and pronunced ROMANIA with a little cap on the first A and the first A is pronunced a little different.

@Raimondo988 Gordini himself was Italian, but Gordini the company is French :-P It's all semantics my friend! By the time he worked on the R8 he had been in France for 30+ years so I guess you could say he was a naturalised French citizen by then.
