I have the Storm 2 and I HATE it. Nothing but troubles that they never resolved from the first one. How Blackberry stays in business with products like this is beyond me. Motorola, I'm coming back.
@fabinnajma UPDATE: My Storm FINALLY broke so that it was replaced under warranty (ear speaker sounded like people were talking under water). Surprised when they replaced it with a Torch. Storm 2 was dropped by my service provider. Gee, no wonder. So far this phone is several times faster and has been working good. Still probably going back to Moto when contract allows. I'll give this Torch a chance to prove itself.
@just306in you are wrong on both accounts, well all three actually, my Storm (just upgraded a few days ago to this phone) had both Facebook 2.0 on it as well as the new App World...so I'm not sure what you are getting at...maybe you didn't update to BB O/S 5 way back when, then I could see not getting these two Apps on O/S 4.7... A Storm 1 or 2 on O/S 5 can run quite a bit...
@frygoat ...probably not a rushing issue as with a laptop you can use the Desktop Manager software to teather the cell's modem, mind you it's over the USB cable...in a way it's better because it powers the phone while you are linked AND still achieves the same thing. As far as tablets go, you can teather to it over Bluetooth, and if you have a PlayBook (as I do) you can Bridge it as well. So having a Hot Spot would be redundant, and in some aspects less secure...
@MrJoebx8 dont get either. . .ive had both and currently on the torch. . CRAPPP customer service; it will annoy you. and they charge for the BBM. . . -_-
iv had the storm 2 for a while. tryin to stay with blkberry. if the 3 comes with front face cam, a bigger screen & its 4g...im all for it. if not then im done with blackberry. on to droid or iphone. blackberry needs to step it up. HTC and Droid phones r kickin ass right now
I heard this storm isn't going to verizon, but instead its going to t-mobile around may (or maybe september/october). If this is true, then I'm upgrading my curve 8520 for this :)
@the1theonlyganggirl What? The Storm1 is the biggest POS phone ever produced by RIM. I had it for a few months before I went BACK to a Curve 8330 until the Storm2 came out, which isn't that bad.
i have had my blackberry bold 9000 for over 2 years now and a due upgrade for 6 months and no phone has yet appealled to me for an upgrade but if this phone is proper touchscreen and not shitty surepress i will get it. please rim forget the surepress it is so bad

we can only hope..but if it comes out and has a 1ghz processor and no surepress I'm getting it..the bold 9800 also looks like it will be pretty nice but doubt it will have more than 650mhz.
@stormieweatha if you notice on the storm picture it is a piece of tape? That tape could be the front facing camera. It looks to be covered up. Remember normally on test units the Camera and web does not work. The storm with the trackpad could very well be the new Storm 3.

I don't see a front facing camera. That may be a deal breaker. An I'm guessing that the Storm3 and rumored Triton are not the same.
