I tink you don't understand the term "polarised." It means that they have adopted opposite ends of the spectrum. They have not - they are both at one end, with roughly identical policies. The way I see it, the only way to proceed is to adopt direct democracy in this country, or at least, use more referenda. Since both parties are very similar, voting for a party doesn't make too much sense; voting on a single policy does.

Sorry, but you just pwned yourself. I'm a sinologist - I study and research China and Chinese culture, and have since I was 13 in an on/off way, before doing it at university. Ever been to China? ALL hospitals use modern, western medicine, and TCM is dying out there. Qigong is commonly prescribed to help minor things - but it's not because they believe in "qi", it's because they believe in relaxation and exercise.

"Qi" isn't a conspiracy, it's just unproveable and stupid. I've been in "internal" Chinese martial arts since I was 9 - xingyi and a bit of bagua. I know a lot about the so-called "internal" side of it - and Qi does not exist, does not need to exist. It's just dumb. And yes, science has proven qi to be non-existant. Qigong does not require "qi", and as you can read in my post, most Chinese doctors do not prescribe qigong for "qi" benefits, just for exercise, relaxation and posture.

And any doctor who found a cure for cancer would instantly be one of the most famous and important people ever; s/he would be rich, as would his/her research institute. Any government would benefit. Reading a David Icke book, may I repeat, is not studying. It's just not. As for the last part: why, because I ask for evidence of what you say? Forget all the bullshit, forget all the rest, I don't give a fuck if you're the queen or Pete Tong or Jewington P Analplay - I just want you to provide me with fairly incontrovertible data that shows that you are correct, and that an evil New World Order is in the process, and has been for 5,000 years or whatever.

Reading a David Icke book is not research. And I have a quite wide ranging knowledge of ancient history - I'm 100% positive that the ancient rulers of Egypt, Sumeria, China; tribal rulers in Africa, Europe, central Asia, America.... etc, were all in league with each other and have been since the dawn o' man. Actually, only one side of my family is purely scientific. And they spent a great deal of their time when I was young filling me in on the world, thanks, and it didn't involve anything like dinosaurs co-habiting with humans, evil cults in 'Frisco fucking everyone deep in their collective bums, hating homosexuals or doing anything other than being curious and happy in the world.

I don't keep mentioning homos - I keep mentioning San Francisco, which is, I believe, near where Bohemian Grove is supposed to be, correct? I love SF - in fact, I love it so much, I'm thinking of applying for a job at Stanford in the future. My thing is this: San Francisco is such a nice place, who could feel bad enough there to want to plot evil and kill everyone? Doesn't make sense to me.
