Great job! I could almost see Angels two stepping across the sky in complete enjoyment of your rendition. Any respectful interpretation of this great and veneered song is a delight. You nailed this one.
Thanks! They're great keyboards, but it helps to have a multi-track CD recorder. I use a KORG 12 track CD recorder for all of my songs. That way I can add more instruments from the Tyros 2 to each song! ;o)
Thanks a lot my friend!!! I'm glad that you like my rendition, and my little "Dixieland Band!" ;o) I like Dixieland music a lot...it's always so happy sounding!!!
Thanks very much for the very nice compliments Mike!!!
Some of the photos are from the Appalachian Region. Some are from the Midwest. The train photo was from Nebraska, (I think). ;o) I love traveling down old country roads!!! :o)
Dixieland, my favorite!! Loved the way you handled the transition from slow music to Dixieland. Beautiful pictures. Great job on one of my favorite hymns. Thanks.
Hi there Dwayne , sorry for the late reply ... I had to pop out and get married lol ... Love the good old dixie band !! my son was in awe at the pics & so was I !!! fantastic video my freind .... great arrangement ....
Thanks for the great compliments my good friend!!! Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule too!!! ;o) Again....my congratulations to you, and Vanessa!!! :o)
Wishing You, Vanessa, and the Boys All of the Best Always,
To be truthful, at first I kinda cringed at giving a Dixieland twist to this famous old hymn..but ya know..it worked! A joyful noise unto the Lord indeed! The pictures were beautiful too..and I liked the "pulling in" effect you used..like you were beckoning us to investigate further down the path. Great work! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks a lot my friend!!! As I mentioned below to Blinkymyt....most Dixieland bands have this song in their repetoire! It's basically a Gospel tune, and supposed to be played in an uplifting manor! ;o) I've heard it played both ways....slow, and fast. I prefer the faster one! :o) Thanks again...I'm glad that you enjoyed it!!!:o)
Very catchy arrangement, and very nicely done. The last time I really heard this gospel classic was Andy Grifith's version from "A Face in The Crowd' (1956) on the sondtrack LP - beautifully sung and arranged. Unfortunately, it was not included in the movie. Have you heard it? Five stars and counting. Cordially, John
Thanks a million my friend!!! I have heard Andy Grifith's version before...it's good!!! This song is a staple of dixieland bands all over! I'm sure that everyone of them includes this tune in their repetoire!
Very nice Dwayne. I hear you playing the trumpet in your arrangement of this beautiful number. Does your Tyros have a sax tone and do any of your songs have sax like you used to play? Have a great week and thank you for your videos and musical arrangements. They brighten the day for each of us who is blessed by your musical gifts. Your friend, Fran
that has a sax as a backup instrument, if that's what you meant. I use 12 tracks, so I can add different instruments in the background from the main melody.
All from the Tyros 2.
Have a great week too Fran, and thanks again!!! :o)

Hi Andy,
Thanks very much for the kind words my friend!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed my arrangement of this great old hymn!!!
Funeral bands in New Orleans will play the slow version of this
hymn going into the cemetery, and the faster Dixieland Jazz version leaving.
What a send off!!! ;o) Thanks for the "Subscription" Andy!!!
