Ok so let me get this straight the helicopters didnt help because it was much to high a risk well you know what they should have atleast tried i mean people couldnt do anything but stay there and just wait i mean they had families and they were probrably the kindest people the helicopters could have atleast tried. I they did they could have saved many people but they couldnt just because they didnt want to take the risk of having themselves die rip 9/11 people

@halochick45 Nobody could get out onto the roof...so, in essance, there wasn't anyone to try to rescue. A helicopter can't get close enough to the side of the building to do any good. The main rotor blade would hit the building. About the best a heli could do is maybe take a water hose up and try to spray from the outside into the structure. The problem is pressure. how do you pump water up that high? It takes A LOT of head pressure to get it there.

@halochick45 Most helicopters wouldn't even be able to lift enough hose to get water up that high. the weight of the hose itself (without water in it) would be more than most heli's could lift...even if you could take the hose up and get it to actually spray water into the building, how does the pilot know if he is doing any good or maybe even doing more harm than good? Is called a lose-lose situation....

Swing the helicopter around with the long rope ladders hanging down (much like they do during water rescue), let one or two people cling to the ladders, then bring them over to an adjacent building rooftop, they jump off, then go back to rescue more people - as many times as you can.

@HawaiiPitBull Youre right, but the problem was that on the south tower a lot of people came back to the top floors because the security department on that tower told them the tower is safe go back to your office, so a lot of people died for that error.

he saved alot of people, giving them water, carried out one of them to the streets. i was only 2 when he died, he left behind my aunite (still a widow) and his daughter (cosion my age) and his twin sons that where born months after he died little zion & james

Hi, I do feel sooooooooo bad for all who lost their lives 9/11/.

I have just watched Flight 93 and could not stop crying.

I was 15 at time..so remember very clearly the horrors I witnessed when I got home and watched second plane crash into second twin tower.

That is why it pains me to take issue with your "U.S. is the best in the World" comment, no one country is better than another.

I sense this type of ideology in part may have contributed to the horrors, NOT condoning this evil!

I had no idea that there was a dramatization of the Twin towers, I have watched Flight 93 many times, always cry, it is 7pm here in UK, I watched all ten parts this morning at 4 am......very moving.
