i think this was the original since the movie was shot in Germany. I think they dubbed the English version.

No, the film was shot in English, but along with translations to other languages, German especially, since that's the language the book was originally written in, there are alternate takes shot.

Trust me; watch the film, you can tell the voices aren't dubbed simply by watching their mouths.

Hai perfettamente ragione. A me è rimasto molto impresso un effetto speciale molto poco speciale in fantaghirò quando nella stanza di smeralda c'erano i suoi genitori che erano due farfalle, quelle due farfalle erano semplicissime come effetto, ma era tutto molto più da favola. Adesso i film sono solo gare a chi li fa il più complicato possibile, una gara a chi usa gli effetti speciali più complicati, ma la resa è zero. Allo stesso modo odio i videogame 3d...w i platform

si si è vero, la penso uguale.. guarda robocop per esempio, non so in che anno è stato fatto ma ad effetti speciali e cmq grazie anche all'interpretazione degli attori (che una volta erano attori) sono in grado di farti entrare nel film, lo rendono davvero realistico e te lo fanno vivere in prima persona, e secondo me questo è la figata di un film.. andare al cinema ora non mi da nessuna emozione
