If Clark had done a little research on his bosses (i.e., Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz) before 9-11, he probably could have given the general an explanation himself regarding why the US was going to war in Iraq. The neoconservative think tank Project for a New American Century was advocating regime change in Iraq as far back as 1998. Anyone happen to know who two oof the people were who officially endorsed PNAC's Statement of Principles in 1997? That's right -- Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz.

Why does everyone act so surprised when a country goes to war over resources? My respect for Clark just jumped up by about ninety percent. To bad the "mainstream media" are in the pockets of, or owned by the war mongers. If this were generally known by most Americans, the next election cycle might prove revolutionary.
