I just experienced the same Morse-code-like audio, using the Chesty setup. A dude from "eye of mine" suggests putting a piece of tape (electrical) under the clip, a the sides of the mount, not center. FYI.
@jlc012 Yeah helmet is more stable although, ive modified the mount even further now and actually have it very stable even on DH runs. the last video I took shows how much better it is.
@PandemoniumPeter My opinoin but I think the chest harness looks better than all the other views, other views just fill disconnected from the bike, chest looks more natural.
I don't think even 60fps is enough to capture decent video for fast actions such as in this video. In this video, not only the subject is moving, but the camera is moving also. So it is a double movement/action that the camera has to deal with. If the 2 actions are split and shot separately, then the camera would capture decent video.
By splitting action, i mean:
1) A steady camera on tripod taking video of a person riding bicycle
2) A shaking camera on a bicycle capturing video of a house
I found out how to eliminate shake in every mount! put a strip of duct tape that covers the whole mount on! it is a tight fit when you put it on but it works 100%!

The chest harness shouldnt really be used in cycling. like zmnali78 said.
use the seatpost or rollbar mount, whichever fits best ;)

I personally chose the higher framerate at lower resolution for the quality aspect. I always chose 720p (which is by default 60fps).

DiPnF 6 months ago
@DiPnF If you google Akasa noise cancelling foam it'll come up, but theres probably a lot of other products you could use.

You will get less camera shake when you attach it to your helmet. its so much better

you don't need foam, that nose plug looking thing that comes with the gopro is for reducing that rattle
just remembered you cant fit the nose plug looking thing on the chest harness
juniourjumpbritain 1 year ago
@juniourjumpbritain Yeah it doesnt fit in that mount, its actually the plastic part of the strap that causes the clicking sound.
Reaver3582 1 year ago
@Reaver3582 oh is it? i might have to do something with mine then, hadn't used it enough to notice that click

Where did you put the foam ?
and how did you attach ?
y14rge 1 year ago
@y14rge Its some Akasa computer sound deadening foam, its self adhesive. I used it on the base plate just around the clasp where it was clicking.
