yeah this game is a rip off everyone is demanding Megaman and other characters but they put whatever characters they want. Players also use cheap tactics to win. But all i really want is new charcters instead of 40 new costumes thats gonna cost me $32 to download.
I agree with this video there are a ton of characters they could have put in the game, Venom, Green Goblin, Docter Octopus, Vega, Sagat, Megaman, Megaman X M.Bions, Juri Han, Electro, Dare Devil, Electrca, Ken, Leon S Kennedy, Claire Redfield, HUNK and countless others that would be no problem to put in the game.

Amen Brother. VF5 is the best, most technical fighter out there. Almost All the moves are command moves. There are at least 5 throws percharacter. Some chars have up to 15 commandthrows. There are catch throws. there are hit throws which are attacks that lead to unique throws. Some move crumple on counter hit. some moves can be charged up to hit harder. some moves can be guard canceled to fake out opponents. Most of all its the most 3D fg. 3D evades,3D slips.parries

True Story. Me and my cousin play this game hardcore. I've never contemplated doing extreme physical harm to anyone in my family before mvc3, EVER. He spams with sentinel assist, turtles with magneto, and now that umvc3 is out he turtles with ghost rider. I'M done with this stroke-inducing game!

The problem I had with MvC3 when it first came out was that it was too simple. Everyone has similar combo chains and once you're stuck in someone's combo, you're screwed. Then I started doing missions and learning how every character works by picking random teams. I'm sure if you took some time and picked out a good team with solid assists you'd take care of any spam team.
Well duh, I could have told you that. From the first day I played that game, I quickly realized that it's not about the moves you can do, it's about who can play the cheapest to win. And if you're referring to Morrigan, she's not new. Darkstalkers and several other Capcom titles over the years and she was always good. Plus, Haggar was a good add. That's for those who know about Final Fight. They skipped out on the full potential of the roster of course.

This is why I don't really like fighters that have pre-programed combo moves, special moves, and other stuff that you cannot do without a 2 or 3 button combination. I just don't have the patients to learn 20 combinations and what to do with 'X factors' in order to be good at a game.
I play Smash Bros because the combos have to be creative. Your character flies away and you have to follow up before they come back to their senses.

Gave us new, none clone characters instead of thousands of x-men/street fighter characters.
Simplified the system for the better so we don't have to worry about pushing button's faster than the other player but rather when.
Ton's of production values, cameos, special intros, themes, attention to detail.
Has all of the charm of previous games.
Is a BLAST to play.

Amen Brother. VF5 is the best, most technical fighter out there. Almost All the moves are command moves. There are at least 5 throws percharacter. Some chars have up to 15 commandthrows. There are catch throws. there are hit throws which are attacks that lead to unique throws. Some move crumple on counter hit. some moves can be charged up to hit harder. some moves can be guard canceled to fake out opponents. Most of all its the most 3D fg. 3D evades,3D slips.parries

@Teravon MVC3 has no balance, people can just spam u to death and if u have the 3 top characters on ur team than ur almost unstoppable, which restricts people from playing with who they want to play with. But DOA has a real counter system and its based mostly off ur skill cause people cant just spam, button mash, or chip u to death with bullshit characters and moves.

i understand where you're coming from but people have gotten better at the game so there are less spammers, and if you practice your combos you can smite them easily. you have a legitimate point with the characters, though personally i dont mind it that much. and the only reason i havent gotten the dlc characters is because im lazy lol, but its also why im partial to umvc3. oh and i fucken love Ammy. a good way to not deal with Dark phoenix is to snap phoenix in the beginning.

1) Save your X-factor to negate theirs. You can't be chipped while in X-Factor.
2) Superjump away to keep away from them while they have lvl3 X factor.
3) Be better at fighting games. Seriously.

The problem I had with MvC3 when it first came out was that it was too simple. Everyone has similar combo chains and once you're stuck in someone's combo, you're screwed. Then I started doing missions and learning how every character works by picking random teams. I'm sure if you took some time and picked out a good team with solid assists you'd take care of any spam team.

Well duh, I could have told you that. From the first day I played that game, I quickly realized that it's not about the moves you can do, it's about who can play the cheapest to win. And if you're referring to Morrigan, she's not new. Darkstalkers and several other Capcom titles over the years and she was always good. Plus, Haggar was a good add. That's for those who know about Final Fight. They skipped out on the full potential of the roster of course.

I agree 100%, Xfactor was complete garbage. All that happends is they have whoever shooting fireballs, with sentinel backup or phoenix. once u kill their guys lvl 3 x factor happends every time. This is why I don't really like fighters that have pre-programed combo moves, special moves, and other stuff that you cannot do without a 2 or 3 button combination. I just don't have the patients to learn 20 combinations and what to do with 'X factors' in order to be good at a game.
I play Smash Bros because the combos have to be creative. Your character flies away and you have to follow up before they come back to their senses.
