  • great video. I've had my 550B since 1994, still going strong! Can't even think of a part I've replaced except the tips on the primer magazine. I disassemble mine once a year, clean it and lube it. Other than that its original since 1994. I've probably loaded 25,000 rounds or maybe even more. good luck

  • my buddy was in a hurry once he accidentally loaded a round with a double charge blew up his gun

  • pistol or rifle rounds? for rifle rounds not bad,

    nice vid keep having fun

  • Speed is fine. Accuracy if final.

  • @ebrak47 yep - very true. One more reason I love the dillon press and powder dump. I check 1-2 every 50 and its never off more that +- 0.1 gr. thanks for the comment

  • how long do you think you could of kept doing that for. but that was pretty fast i must say sir. nice video

  • @josephd27 I have done it for a couple hours at a time. What holds me up is I can only prep 50 rounds at a time. I need more trays. Only takes 1 min for the lube to dry and be ready so its not that bad.

  • @TheCromeShop very impressive man. i hope the trays are not that expensive

  • @josephd27 no they are not, just something I never think about when ordering supplies.

  • @TheCromeShop how much does one of those dillon setups go for

  • @josephd27 the press is around 425 with no dies on the dillon site. I got mine in a group buy for 365 shipped. The prices of dillon keeps going up. Used ones sell for damn near the same price as a new one.

  • @TheCromeShop wow how much is a die set

  • @TheCromeShop You got the press with conversion kit for 365? or did you have to buy the conversion separately?

  • How do you think the 550B compares to the 650XL? Is it worth the extra money for the 650?

  • @YokoWenis Honestly I dont know, I have never used the 650 myself. Back when I was reading about the dillon products I remember thinking all the 650 needed was a motor to run it automatically. It is a nice loader, but as you can see the 550 is quick to use. I can do even more 9mm in 5 min, they dont require lube and I can just grab them and go. No stopping to lube and set up 50 more. When I run out of primers, I fill the loader with 100 and fill the primer tube with another 100 for a fast reload

  • i NEED to get one of those!!

  • @9bymyside swing by and try it out!!

  • @theArmedJanitor I may can do that - things i learned along the way, how to save a buck and not get screwed buying the wrong things.

  • Lol! Great soundtrack! Looks like your stopwatch might be a lil fast though!

  • @jamoore3192 lol!! toe tapp'n

  • good grief!1!!!!i need to send you my powder bullets and brass!

  • @23mrcowboys LMAO!!

  • You go minute man!!! Your wife must be proud, lol!!!!!!! Nice job nigga

  • @thestubby0032 5 min loading puts a smile on my face, 5 min poking puts a smile on my face too!!

  • hey man nice vid. can you do a vid on what you need to get started with the dillon? thanks

  • right on i have been looking at these for awhile and plan on getting into reloading here in a few months

  • Thumbs Up my Friend!!

  • It more like 5:06!! cool vid bro!!!

  • Nice. I really need to get into reloading.

  • It's like playing the slot machine lol a slot machine that spits out rounds hahahah.

  • @Eslamizar Jack Pot!!

  • Dude, you rocked those rounds! I guess I'll have to remain old fashioned and slow. LOL!

  • @thebudgetarmory1 Thanks bud!! nothing wrong with old fashion at all - I have a happy trigger finger as you will see in some up coming videos. Going to shoot some tomorrow, got to get back out in the man cave loading - 3k to go!!

  • @thebudgetarmory1 Do a reply - just for others to see another side of loading. Just an idea

  • Cool reloader, from what I have heard it just isnt cheaper to reload 9mm over here, I need to look into it I think.

  • Another awesome video outta "The Crome Shop"!!!! Be cool to see some video responses...

  • @fatboyR6 yeah, I like response vids - I hope others post up what they have to this or make a response.

  • nice job man! hope you get a lot of responses!!!

  • @Lookinformemarbles I do too.. thanks for swinging through and checking it out. The other vid I have up shows how I bolted it down and cost of components. Have a great day!!

  • That is a awesome setup and very fast.I've started pricing some of the equipment that you run.Is it the RL550 B.I noticed one has a caliber conversion kit and one does not.Just curious.

  • @unomas58 Yep thats the one. I got mine set up with 223 shell plate. I did buy an additional tool head, and shell plate for 9mm. I haven't bought another powder dump. I just swap the stuff around when I need to. I am using RCBS 223 dies (no crimp die) and Dillon 9mm dies.. Their dies are expensive but like most companies they have a no BS warranty. I have used that a few times for parts I broke.. RCBS sends me free decapping rods/pins.. I break one every time I get a stuck case.. Lube up lol

  • damn thats fast supper man im deff gonan be save $ up to buy alot of stuff to reload when we move outta town

  • @curtispa it is expensive to get set up - but its all down hill from there, let the savings begin!! Cost with out brass is less than 3 bucks per 20 rounds of 55gr 223/5.56.
