This cadillac owns. When my lease ends next year on my VW, this will definately be on my wishlist. This has to be the best American car ever, its so good it rivals the best from across the atlantic.

The perception that German cars are better is a false one that I wish more people would wake up to. The fuel milage , engine performance , handling , interior sound level , overall styling , maintnance costs just to name a few, are far superior on the new CTS.

Coming from a longtime Chrysler lover, NO!. The 300c is overdue for a redesign, even though it looks good on the outside, the interior is very very cheap! (cheap leather, cheap plastic dashboard, fake wood grain and too many hard plastic surfaces!). I think the 300 will be redesigned in 2010, but for now the only upgrade will be to the engine (from 340hp/390lb torque to 400+ hp and torque from the new 5.7l Hemi v8). The only good upcoming Chrysler interior is on the 2009 Dodge Ram Laramie:(
chrysler hasent made a good car since the 60's and 70's muscle cars; challenger, dart, coronet, and charger. everything they make now is garbage, and they are even considering selling off part of the market share to GM!!!

Yes, but it is marketed as a sports sedan. It is still a very nice car, just heavy, and not as quick as its competitors from BMW, Infiniti, Acura, and several others.

Definitely. Despite the huge amount of financial mistakes GM has made (i.e. UAW) they are doing well with Cadillac. Superior brands from abroad excel in part because their engineering budgets are significantly higher and they aren't paying their assembly crew astronomical amounts of money each month.

BS. two of my employees have CTS's. One had a problem with the rear window and he brought it over to fix. Inside the door there was a lot of unfinished metal edges that you do not find in a BMW. Basically what you are saying is that the most opinionated are the least informed.
accocksuck2: ever attend a CCA event? Many are hosted at the dealerships garage with master mechanics performing how-to clinics. A lot of BMW owners repair their own vehicles(including me), then they go bitch at their dry cleaners.

Same here. I agree, the Caddy is finally back in the hunt, if not necessarily at the front of the pack. It's about 300lbs overweight, if ya ask me.
